the class itself is not hard, the professor is very unorganized and you tend to get a lot of assignments assigned to you after the date that it is initially suppose to be assigned. Discussion boards are a mess and you tend to do 2 weekly discussions in 1 week since she always forgets to open them accordingly to the syllabus. Never responds to email

Comment:

I had professor Krenz for an online class. At the beginning of the semester, I emailed her tons of times and she answered months later. She doesn't enter all assignments till the end of the semester and the work is unorganized. Taking this online class frustrated me a lot. Her tests are difficult in my perspective and are timed to short to take.

Worst professor thus far. Unorganized lectures, cancelled class every week (which would be good if she didn't replace it with some long assignment that isn't clear on exactly what we are supposed to do), LOTS of online discussion posts, 3 exams MC w/ fill in. (gives study guide & a cheat sheet) Confusing group project research paper & project video

She is unorganized. She blatantly ignores emails and releases weekly modules days late almost every time. She also do not grade anything until the end of the semester so you really don't know how you stand. Besides that the material is interesting and what's expected of you is obvious. Overall pretty easy but the tests are hard, very text specific.

As a Type A student, this professor drives me insane! 1) Her modules on Revel are usually launched late 2) Writing assignments are unclear 3) Emails aren't addressed to in a timely manner, sometimes never addressed at all She seriously gives me anxiety because she is so unorganized. I would not recommend her online PH91.

I am taking her online course and I do not recommend it. She has been unclear about assignments and when me and many students emailed her, she took a week to respond; so the assignment went past due. Just not worth the stress over being unclear about what youre supposed to be doing.

I do not recommend taking an online class with Dr. Krenz. She gave unclear instructions for a first assignment and did not answer any students questions both on blackboard and through email for an entire week. She references things that do not exist in blackboard and set assignment due dates wrong so many students missed out on points. I dropped.

3 tests that are multiple choice along with fill-ins. She does review sessions and lets you use cheat sheets for the tests which is a plus! One group project due at the end of the semester which is very time consuming. You have to create a video and write a 10 page paper. She offers extra credit at the end of the semester!

I love Dr. Krenz! She is the sweetest person ever! Her class wasn't too hard. The hardest part was probably the group paper/video. Other than that, it's not too bad. She is a genuinely caring & thoughtful professor. I would definitely take her again! :)

If possible, avoid this professor! This has got to be one of the most ridiculous classes I've ever taken. She takes forever just to start class and forgets what she's supposed to lecture on. She is disorganized, goes off on random stuff about her life and who she knows, and decides to add a group project to make it even more difficult for everyone.

Horrible class!! Spring 13, so disorganized, waits till the last day to grade almost all assignments, will not know ur grade until it's posted as final grade, group project sucks!, does random roll calls, make u buy a iclcker and she does not even know how to use it, take 20 mins of class to figure it out, test are extremely horrible, and no help!

She is a cool person but a horrible professor. She does not focus on material, just talks about how awesome she is. She always starts class late, usually taking 10-15 before she even starts. Read the power points they will help you the most. Lectures are not helpful but you need to show up for participation points....Overall a waste of time.

DO NOT BUY TEXTBOOK! She's very informed about health in general, however the class is a total joke. She lectures straight from Bb, tests do not correspond to lectures. Bonus points are given for showing up. She's a nice lady, just not a very good professor. She takes forever to respond to emails, she's not very helpful @ office hours.

Class boring and easy. She doesn't take roll, however she counts participation points. Just go and do other hw. You'll have a midterm and a final online which are ridiculously easy if you have a buddy helping you and the powerpoints, you'll rarely use the text, but there's a couple questions from it on the tests. Oh yeah, there's a 10page paper!!

Going to class was definitely a waste of time. The powerpoints were posted online and all the homework assignments are online. One big paper due at the end of the semester, but overall the class was easy. Just don't expect to learn anything new about health issues with aging it's all pretty repetitive and most of the time she was off on a tanget.

You don't have to buy the book, everything is on blackboard. You don't really have to attend class, participation assignments are also on blackboard, also the midterm is online. Most of the information that she teaches is common sense or i learned in another class already. She is a good, kind person.

This class is a complete waste of time. I am a straight 'A' student and was so stressed about my grade until a couple weeks after the semester ended. This professor does not guide students at all and spends lecture time babbling about her personal life. She also has severe ADD and goes off on multiple tangents every class period.

Go to lectures only on days where study guides are being collected, otherwise it's a waste of time. Most of the material in the course in easy to grasp. Her lectures rarely have to do with relevant material and often about her own life.
