I loved this class. He's knowledgeable, engaging and so open-minded. He really wanted us hear different perspectives and form our own opinions. Be careful though, he doesn't assign a lot of points so there isn't a lot of wiggle room. His study guides are really helpful and he offers extra credit. 3 quizzes, 1 8-page research paper and the final.

Very well spoken, honest, and good communication with students. Very accessible teacher who tries to truly help you learn, not just memorize

difference in opinion, challenging debate, and non-bias teachers Mr Latino our class was interrupted with debate on current events, which made class fun Take good notes and you will never open the textbook. Be involved in the class and he will make sure you pass. EXTRA CREDIT is offered at the end of the semester so stick thru it.

Vince Latino is one of the most intelligent men that I have met- he knows what he is talking about. That being said, he goes on rants or off track alot. BUT he grades his assignment and test fast and makes up for any of the time he wasted by giving plenty of extra credit. He even fixed the final so that you got 25 extra credit possibilities .

Extremely unorganized. Lost my research paper and gave me the wrong grade at the end of the semester only for my to hunt him down the following semester so I could petition to to get my grade change. Prepare to study a lot for the exams. We got off topic all the time during class.

Really strange class, but probably because of the election. He was unorganized, and we ended up getting way off track because he let the class go crazy and have really long group discussions/debates on current politics. Tons of people were on their phones or didn't bother showing up. We ended up cramming half the semester into the lat few weeks.

Nobody hates the Federal Government like Professor Latino. If you are ready to be politically challenged, take this class. Argue with him. Insult him. Challenge him. Doesn't matter: He'll grade you as fair as he would anyone else.

Best lectures at Sierra College. 4 Tests, 1 Big Research Paper. Study guides given for each test. Very few assignments. Engaging discussion and debate every class period. There is a textbook but you'll likely never open it in class. Vince has vast knowledge in the world politics.

You just take this class, period. This isn't the usual sit down, shut up, take notes class. While it is very lecture based, you also have some class periods that just turn into incredible debates among every one in the class. Vince is not there to sway your political opinion and you are allowed to disagree with him. I recommend taking this class!

Vince Latino is great!! I honestly thought I was going to get a B, but he gave me an A just by getting 100% on the research paper, showing up, and doing extra credit. And I averaged about 80% on all of the MC exams! He is hilarious and tries to help every student succeed. His tests are hard and tricky, but his lectures are entertaining.

Professor Latino is knowledgable, helpful, and clear. Government isn't really my thing but I got an A after showing up every day, doing all the extra credit, and putting in a lot of work for my research paper. Occasionally attendance will be taken at random for participation points. Take lecture notes and do his study guides! P.S. he's funny!

Great professor, really easy grader. There's one research paper, I started it the day before and still got 100%, as long as your information is good you'll do well. I didn't show up to class very often, but I used the study guide online and took notes from the book and still did well on the tests.

Study very thoroughly for every test they will be hard. He is a very funny guy and clearly loves what he teaches so what more could you ask from the guy?

Mr. Latino is a GREAT professor his class is only hard because it is a lecture course and he does NOT go by the book.. umm also he does NOT give homework the only thing your grade is based on is one essay due towards the end of the semester, participation, test. so it is mandatory to come since its lecture class and he again does NOT use the book

Prof Latino is passionate about his subject. He teaches the class with a very conservative bias, however he is very liberal on social issues. He has experience in the field. His test are decent, read the text and use his lecture notes when studying. Not an easy A, must work for it.

He is one of the best teacher's I have ever had and the only conservative teacher. He is very knowledgeable as well as a great guy. His class consists of lecture four test's and a public policy paper. There are not a lot of points so make sure you do well on the tests. He makes the lectures not boring and tells a lot of stories about lobbying.

Professor Latino is a great teacher. He has a conservative opinion, though he ALWAYS gives students both sides of the information and pushes us to develop our own opinion, which is refreshing. He usually has essay exams, though this semester he used scantron tests. If you take good notes during lecture, the exams are easy. Best gov teacher by far

He is one of my favorite teachers this year. He lectures every class and enjoys class participation. Only used the textbook once this entire semester never in class. His tests come from his lectures, just take good notes and pay attention to the study guides posted on BB. There are only 4 tests and a research paper, also lots of extra opportunities
