Awesome Seminar professor always encouraging us to share ideas. She really helped me build courage to speak up. Professor Smith always challenged us to think deeper and never put down anyone's contributions. She also provided a safe and welcoming environment that allowed all the students to get to know each other and create a community feeling

She is very intimidating at first. HW nightly along with weekly pop quizzes which are based off the HW. As long as you do your HW on the tuesday and correct your answers, she'll do the quizzes on Thursday based off of the previous class HW. Overall, speak up in class and participate, she'll love you and give you breaks on grading. Love her.

I came to really like this class. She is about intimidating but once you get use to her rudeness, you will like this class. Learned alot. She is a good teacher. As long as you go to class you will do well.

She picks favorites and can be downright rude to some people for the littlest things. She doesn't help much with understanding the material and expects you to know it after barely going over it once- if going over it at all. You basically teach yourself. Tests can be difficult and confusing and have a high percentage of your grade. Avoid taking her if you can.

She is a great teacher. People sometimes are intimidated by her abrupt way of speaking, but in reality she just expects a lot of her student. She is quick witted and does not like to see people slack off and try to get away with it. Her tests are fair, and she reviews a ton before "pop quizzes." Work hard and she will love you! Take her class!

Horrible teacher! I don't understand why she has any good reviews. If you do all of the work and come to class, you will definitely learn. But if you ask her any questions, she tells you her job is not to be your private tutor, so ask the person next to you. Worst teacher I've ever had. Dreaded her class.
