I remember enjoying Beasley. Specifically, I remember him saying the goal when he was in school was to take the test cold without appearing to have studied. That added smart points. That was what I was doing because classrooms never appealed to me. It didn't work too well, because he HAD to dock points as required by the university.

Beasely was one of those professors that everyone fears having to take but of course the university made him MANDATORY, but he was absolutely wonderful. He is now in heaven having a beer with Jesus, RIP Beasley.

I hear many people complain over Civ 102...that's because they haven't had this guy. If only my grandfather's history lectures were as interesting. Material is tough but listening to lectures helps a lot. That shouldn't be a problem. They are very entertaining.

Great Class, very funny and interesting. The class is similar to CIV 102, but more detailed. Try reading a little and use blackboard and you should get an "A". NOTES!!

Taken him for Modern Europe, Making of Britain and Ancient World History. His lectures can range from informative to hilarious to entertaining. Just come to every class and copy down everyword he says and know it for the exams. If you don't like foul language, then you'd do wise to avoid.

Beasley is a very interesting person. He definatly knows what he's talking about! He really makes students become involved with history! I loved his class! Tests are hard, but as long as you put in the time you'll be fine! Im taking him again next semester! I highly recommend!

Excellent professor. I have never enjoyed a history class as much as I did his. Can be a bit vulgar at times, but it keeps you entertained! Tests are straight forward and purposeful. If you like sarcasm and to watch old men jumping around imitating people in history-- take Beasley and have fun!
