She is a great person to take quantum with. Come to classes and read textbook prior, she explains everything clearly. Stop by her office if you have questions. There are TA hours for homework and lab report help as well. It was a hard class, but it also was a great one

Wei was the best Chemistry professor that I have ever had. The class is incredibly interesting, but also challenging. She is always available for help and completely invested in assisting her students. I really enjoyed her class.

I love Professor Chen! She is funny and cute, as well as a great lecturer. She can seem quiet, so if you are in a big class, I would recommend taking the time to get to know her. But she is very available to meet with her students (during office hours or if you schedule to meet with her) to help them with homework, scheduling, or anything else.

She definitely made me like chemistry all over again. Hard exams, but good lectures. Very friendly and approachable outside of lecture, and definitely helps out a student in need.

Comment:

The classes always seemed long and drawn out. She tuahgt directly from the book, and so going to class often seemed pointless, since I could have just taught myself instead. Her tests were difficult and she often didn't prepare us well enough for them. HOWEVER, she is VERY friendly and helpful and tries her hardest to help you succeed.

Wei is one of the few fair teachers you will find in the sciences. She works hard, and plays hard. Though I only took one class with her, she had a great impact on my life; I couldnt have made it through my last semester without her continuous guidance and encouragement. Wei, you're more loved and appreciated than you know. Thank you.

shes very organized and is very helpful. If you were unhappy with her during chem 101.. boy will u miss her when u have cotter!!! It was a difficult job introducing the subject and she did a good job, its hard making 150 students understand chem.

Very nice and helpful. Teaches very fast, so unless you have a solid backgournd in chemistry, you'll struggle. But you are expected to have some knowledge of the subject before taking this class anyway.
