Mr. Hester's class was pretty easy. He posts study guides on D2L to help you prepare for the test. If you complete these study guides with notes from lecture and your book, you will do well. Class attendance is helpful, though not mandatory. The class itself is boring, but still an easy A.

He takes attendance up until the first test then after that he doesnt. He is really boring and hard to hear, i never went to class after he stopped taking attendance and just came on exam days, i printed out the study guide and studied what was on that and i usually got a A or B so he's not to tough, but I wouldn't recommend this class!

He is soo boring!! If you don't sit in the front you can't really hear him. His class is the only class I fell asleep in. I texted so much. It's like he doesn't teach anything. Its really up to you to read the book and take notes. He gives slides on the overhead but it seemed like none of that info or very little, was on the tests. The tests r hard

Incredibly hard to hear him if you sit in the back. Decent teacher. Attendance isn't mandatory, but has notes in class that are typically on the tests. KNOW THE VOCAB. Study the online quizzes at the McGraw-Hill website. Reading the book thoroughly to a "T" is recommended for the tests. Boring class though; I was always falling asleep.

The ONLY problem is he is soft spoken and it is hard to hear him when the students are disrespecting his class and continuing to talk. This man makes the course INTERESTING and it is a shame that most are too lazy to put any effort into getting the most out of his class. Complaining about him shows they are the ones failing. He is a GOOD teacher.

He says class is mandatory but after the first few weeks he stops taking attendance. Going to class is a complete waste of time, if you sit in the back you can't ever hear him talking. The tests are pretty easy if you have the study and know vocab.

He sucks ...majorly. I can make A's in History, Biology Majors, Chemistry, and even Statistics but I make a freakin C in his class. He doesn't teach worth crap and his lectures are freakin boring as crap. If you want to be miserable take this horrible guy

He's nice, but he rambles on about random things. I did fine without the study guide but a lot of people told me they wouldnt have passed the class without it. I just used the book. The only bad part about the grading is you have 4 tests and thats the only grades you get.

This professor brought my GPA down!!!! I made an A in Chemistry, and B in Organic Chemistry, and A in History, and and A in Literature, and I Made a D+ in HIS CLASS!!!!!!!! I even asked to see the tests on what I missed, and he said "Don't Worry About it!" Well, i didn't worry and came out with A FRICKIN' D+!!! THIS MAN WILL LOWER YOUR GPA!!!!

His tests were almost entirely from the study guide that came with the book. Several questions were word for word. He wasn't strict about attendence at all. A great class to take to get one of your general education requirements out of the way.
