I really like her as a person, and as a teacher, however, her lectures are very hard to get through and she does not relay information very well. You have to read the text book to understand concepts, and I went to her office hours ALL THE TIME . With that, she is very understanding and really wants her students to be successful. Go to class!!

She's a very nice professor and will answer any questions you have. Take good notes, you can use them on exams!! No assigned homework. All points for the class are from the exams.

Dr. Schweigert is an amazing professor and cares a lot about her students. I thoroughly enjoy all of her lectures. She is knowledgable yet kooky. she is more than fair when it comes to grading. She is extremely understanding and very approachable if you have any concerns. She is more than willing to help her students and cares about their success.

Comment:
Her lectures are extremely boring, and her examples are lame. I mostly just couldn't stand listening to her talk...it was like she was always trying to be "cool" or something, and often laughed at her own jokes. The class itself is hard because of the other 3 professors, but whenever she created a quiz it was very easy. I would not recommend her.

It doesn't really matter what professor you have because its a lecture of 8 different professor and she'd be your discussion leader. She has no idea what she's talking about and will ask other students for and answers or say i don't know. Don't take her and I'd advise taking this class at a community college over the summer because it's tough.

Did a very poor job answering questions and was often unwilling to help any students. On more than one occasion answered students questions with "I don't know" and would ask other students to answer questions because she didn't know the answer.

Taking the 205/306 dual credit class is by far the easiest route. I am not good at Stats and I received a solid A. However, Dr. Schweigert can be unclear at times and would sometimes make students feel stupid for asking questions.

When asking questions, Dr. Schweigert would often answer with a smart attitude. I and other fellow students felt unsure of homework requirements and were to afraid to ask!!! I would suggest taking Dr. Huffcutt.

This class was pretty easy; sometimes she didn't explain experiments well, but she will always try to help you understand. The books is useless, only a few questions come from it on each test; it's not worth your time to read - know your notes! Class is 90% tests (3), and 10% for a paper. Very manageable A.

She often goes off on her tangents that sometimes makes her lectures very confusing. The tests are nothing like the material that she teaches you. The class is pretty much all based on tests (90%) so you need to do well on all of them. She's okay but definitely confusing.

She's awesome. I never showed up to discussions (and I regret it now because she talked about some awesome things) and I still managed a B. She's a good lecturer and I understood all of her material.

She makes everything extremely clear and easy to understand. She's not a powerpoint addict either, thank goodness. She is extrememly nice and the best out of the group of PSY lecturers that I've had.
