pretty much best time ever. choir tour and performances are hectic, but dr. hall is helpful when it comes to that. his stories are the GREATEST. especially when they CHANGE every time he tells them. one day it's "and a thousand people entered the church weeping" and another it's "and two thousand people entered the cemetery weeping"

He is one of the greatest conductors in the world..and he knows it too. Basically, he thinks he's god. But if you can get past that, he is a pretty great conductor. Overall I loved the choir, and he's definately an interesting and entertaining character if nothing else.

The professor just does not connect with students, he is rude and acts with calusness when called on it. He has his moments, but busy work and politics combined with not explaining the requirements are unbelievably unnerving.

Yes, he's a hard ass, but he's a good teacher. He knows what he's looking for and if you are in choir, you're it. He will not be sympathetic to most excuses and/or problems. But if you can get past that, he'll teach you a lot.
