Really bad teacher: 1. The text book has a lot of errors and it's extremely confusing. The teacher loves it. 2. When given a question, he just answers "it's not my area of expertise, so I'm not qualified to answer you". Why is giving the course then ??? 3. He reads all class !! Which makes it quite boring. 4. We have -10 motivation to go to class.

Nice Guy, but like everyone else has said he cant teach. Just buy the book, read it and study the types of problems he goes over in class for the test and there is no reason why you shouldnt get an A in his class. Although he sucks at teaching he is one of the most fair graders in SMG. Dont take this class if you are not interested in Accounting

Prof. Setlz is one of the worst professors I've had at BU. His teaching style is extremely dry and when faced with a question, he makes sure to respond as condescendingly as possible. His lectures are directly out of the book which make them quite dry. If given a wrong answer, he does his best to make you feel embarrassed in front of the class.

Horrible professor - ambiguous and utterly unhelpful. If you email him, he'll never respond. There really is no point in going to class - he does not teach, just puts up questions, gives you 5 minutes to figure it out, and puts up the answers. What a waste of a class.

Past postings don't lie-except for Degener-WR100-who is an absolute whack-job Seltz is one of the worst profs at BU and by far the worst in SMG-worse than Kohn if thats possible-He's rude/condescending/unclear/contradictory/stubborn/disorganized/confusing/frustrating/and so BORING-Watching paint dry for 90 minutes seems interesting in comparison.

Prof. Seltz was an accountant by profession, and people in the real world make for great professors. Seltz is the exception to the rule: Boring, unorganizaed, indecisive (sp), and unclear. The one saving grace is that you don't have to show up for class. I should note that the textbook for Intermeidate 1, along with the professor, SUCK.

Great Professor-smart guy- may not seem like he cares about his students but he really does (he randomly knew what HS I went to, after I never participate or talk to him in general). COldcalls, but curves greatly. Plus you'll learn real life stuff
