good teacher, easy class if you pay attention and keep up. But Bill as a person is rather passive aggressive when it comes to asking him things. Take this course with any other professor if possible. Not the end of the world but I would have enjoyed my time much more with someone else

It is extremely easy to do well in this class. Make sure you attend class and keep up with the assignments and quizzes. Bill sets you up for success, and gives you multiple opportunities to succeed. The course itself isn't difficult, but may come off as a lot of work. No need to purchase the textbook, as you won't use it.

Definitely a great teacher who knows what he's doing. This is the kind of education appropriate for business schools - how to present yourself, communicate with others, be direct and simplify, and let's not forget knowing correct grammar and how to actually write in English. Will help you out in any way and is super generous with extra marks, etc.

When the class average is 50% take a fricken hint. His moodle site is so confusing, there is so much crap on it that you can't ever find what you're looking for. Glad it's almost over.

DO NOT TAKE BILL. Yes, he's an extremely easy prof but you will want to poke your eyeballs out. He doesn't take criticism when you call him out, he's a really slow marker, and he tends to ramble on. He says, "alright friends" whenever he tries to get the classes attention. He's sweaty and awkward. Easy A for sure, but it's not worth it.

His lecture was very clear . Gave lots of examples to show you what to do. Better show up to class because 70% work was done in class. He's a great prof overall. I bought my textbook but never touch it.

Bill made the dreaded business communications class easy to grasp and understand through his lectures where he dissects documents and pieces of writings. He provides so many opportunities for students to accumulate bonus marks. You even get bonus marks for volunteering to read passages and giving consent for your work to be shared to the class!

Really long repetitive lecture!! He gives you easy bonus marks and grades in all the assignments and if you do the work to his specifications you will get an easy A. He is very clear about what he wants and everything in on Moodle. He gives plenty of examples in class and on Moodle.

I found the class to be very dry, but Bill really helped make it easier. Grading criteria was crystal clear, with many opportunities for bonus marks. Gives very good feedback. Only flaw is that he takes a while to mark stuff. I recommend taking him.

His clarity is clear-cut. He always posts a lot of examples to the moodle site of templates of assignments from previous semesters. You will never need to ask him what he expects out of an assignment because his outlines are so clear you are almost walking into a A grade. He's funny and charismatic, huge recommend!

Will is an amazing teacher. Honestly the content is really dry, but he manages to make it a little more interesting. I have taken the writing skills he has taught me and applied them to other classes (had the best proposal in another class because of him). He is a very hard marker. If you are a poor writer you are going to have to work for it.

He was a hilarious teacher for public speaking. He is extremely helpful for assignments for Business writing and editing. He posts tons of old project examples on moodle to give full clarity on what he expects. Definitely recommend him, he's a prime example of an organized teacher. No midterm or final, only 2 multiple choice tests on grammar etc.

An easy A. Show up & do assignments. I don't know how but he messed up my final mark badly. I was supposed to get an A but he failed me and because of it i got dropped out of TWO classes for the following semester since 220 was a pre-req. He eventually fixed it but it caused me SO much inconvenience. Make sure you check your marks carefully!

I love how he keeps all the documents from his past communications classes to use as examples. He posts up his previous students' works on moodle to give a crystal clear idea of what he's looking for in the assignment. Quizzes and tests are very straight forward and do-able even if you understand the material very briefly. Overall a very good class

He gives you a lot of information, which can be overwhelming. He loves teaching though, and is very confident (in a good way). He loves answering questions. His assignments are easy if you look at the examples he posts on Moodle as a guideline. If english is your second language, you will struggle - lots of report writing. Excellent teacher though!
