Took Intro to Mobile Development at Douglas College. He seemed to not be very familiar with the material and often ran into bugs in Android Studio (which I've unanimously been told not to use by actual developers). His grading scale changes completely on the final compared to the rest of the course. Far from the worst but would not recommend.

I didn't know any C# or Visual Studio in the beginning and ended up with excellent knowledge of both. I was glad that I transferred into his class. If I remained in my other section then I would have failed this course. His lessons were very clear. One of the best professors in the region. (I attended other university too).

Xing's an awesome teacher. I have taken numerous classes with him and would take more quite happily. Exams are straight out of his notes. I didn't even touch my textbooks so I'm glad I downloaded them (oops! :) ) instead of paying money for them. Not only did I get good grades in his classes, I learned a lot. So that's an added plus!

One of the most relaxing class atmospheres. His lectures are boring but he does use videos from youtube and the internet which are pretty cool. His assignments are easy and he marks tests very easy and gives part-marks for almost any answer. Very easy course to do well in if you finish the assignments and read the text-book before a test.

I dont know about other courses, but for stats he is entirely useless. Has a very thick accent and is difficult to understand, is unsure about what he is doing, changes his mind about using excel, and you will have to teach yourself the course. DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR STATS!!

He is the best teacher in It department. He is damn helpful. He is very very and very hardworking teacher. He always work hard far more than what a student does in his class. He find very good demos and examples to learn from. I like to attend his classes because he is simple the BEST ever teacher I had. Highly recommended.
