A great guy with a sense of humor beyond his years and a delightful accent! He had some occasional trouble with getting the class to quiet down after break-out sessions, but all in all, he was adept at teaching the fundamentals of chemical engineering.

Had Lenhoff for both MATH305 and CHEG325. Good guy, wants you to know the stuff, and really knows the stuff well. His examples in class will help shave off a couple hours of doing homework. Interestingly, he hit a 60 average on all 3 exams and it felt like he threw some curveballs on them. Overall good teacher, but make sure you do the homework!

Just taught the Matlab section, and a couple of lectures near the end of the course. Good guy, gives you a lot of time to do Matlab assignments, and you can look at all your old Matlab work during Matlab exams, which can be a bit tricky.

Smart guy, endless wit, and great overall professor. Knows his material well, and keeps things interesting and pertinent. Class itself is tough, but graded competitively like any other engineering class.

excellent, but very strict teacher. very helpful during office hours and clarifies any confusion with lecture materials. be sure to read the matlab book before doing any matlab assignments.

matlab assignments rocked my world. much better teacher than schleineger but assigns hard labs. lectures are pretty good, but he only lectures for about 15 minutes a week in the matlab section. interesting guy.

Can't really rate Lenhoff to precisely cause the diff eq lecture was taught by another teacher (Schleiniger). I get the impression that Lenhoff would be a great prof if he taught a course by himself, not the easiest teacher, but not too many CHEG profs are.

Much more helpful with diff eq concepts than Schleiniger. Gave "to the point" but difficult matlab assignment. GO TO HIM TO LEARN PDE CONCEPTS!

Expects WAY too much out of you, especially with matlab assignments. Average score on matlab test was a 50. He tries to help but many times he just confuses you even more.
