This class wasn't hard, exactly. It was demanding, but the work was easy. Aeron cared WAY too much about daily quizzes taken in lieu of attendance. If you missed two, TWO, you failed the entire class. You had to jump through hoops to make up for them too. The class would have been more than fine if it hadn't been for those stupid quizzes though.

She gave me a B/C grade. I was only .7% short of a B & she didn't give me the opportunity to make it better by E.C or anything else. She's nice but she "has a strict policy not to change a final grade". I'm disappointed because I was a great student & gave it my all in this class (she admitted it) but got a sucky grade by .7%.

Great professor! So entertaining and her class is really easy. There is a lot of reading, but she selects easy reads that are interesting. And there are no tests. Just 3 short papers that I got A's on. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Very, very entertaining. My major has NOTHING to do with humanities, but I took it as an upper-level Hum Stud Gen Ed. It was A LOT of reading and papers but she made it worth while with her stories and how she would relate to things.

Prof. Haynie is a great professor. Her class requires A LOT of work but she puts an equal amount of work into her lectures and cares about the students success. She has a sense of dry humor which can make the class quite interesting. Its worth putting the work into the class because you'll learn a lot from her.

She was awesome. I hate poetry, which is a lot of this class, but she made it very fun! Very funny woman. Her tests seem like they're going to be easy but they are very hard, so make sure to study! Need to know some "useless" information. use the writing center for her papers.

She absolutely killed our class last semester. I wrote seven papers total, did a presentation, and practically had a breakdown because she had us do a 12 final paper, 5 page take-home essay, and an exam for the final week of class. I did more work in her class than two or three of my others combined. I never worked so hard just to get an A.
