Funny, interesting teacher, always cracking jokes, but his class demands ALOT of reading and studying. you HAVE to read two chapters in the txbk EVERY week, with a short quiz EVERY monday. Quizzes are east if u read, some questions are tricky. Can become annoying. He gives alot extra credit and participation in the lecture boost up my grade (A).

I had him several years ago. I think it was for two classes and they were alright, although I felt like we were a bit 'babied' in the sense that papers/quizzes were super easy. It also drove me crazy that he always had some female student(s) tagging along behind him, a "TA", and that he had more time to speak with them than students in class.

This class was alright. Nothing spectacular, the topics you discuss can sometimes be intersting. The quizzes were easy if you read but he wasn't the most fantastic guy that everyone makes him seem to be.

Great teacher! Taken as once a week class. Weekly quizzes, based on assigned readings. One 10 page paper due at the end of the semester. Great sense of humor, great teaching style. I would have skipped any other 6-8:40 class, but I never skipped one. High class participation. Sad to see him go!

Awesome teacher!! I will prolly take him again if i need to... no tests but a quis almost everyday but they're really easy... class can be a lot of fun and he's pretty funny sometimes i definately reccommend him... half of my class has had him several times before and love him so much they continue taking his classes

Easy A. Class discussion makes time go by but some people are really dumb and won't stop talking even though everyone wants to slap them. Clarke is super nice and sweet and, I recommend this class to anyone.. anyone could get something big out this kind of sociology class, although it's not particularly challenging.
