Comment:

Lots of homework, but it is all simple. Has examples that you can copy. May be confusing instructions if you have never written a business letter before but you get the hang of it later. There is a packet that you need to buy that gives info. on writing letters, study guides, final. Ask her to check your work before you turn in the real one.

Comment:

Super easy class, shes pretty traditional when it comes to the business practice. Her homework is super easy and tests are all multiple choice. The final is a portfolio which you do each single paper during the semester. She hates phones and she'll stop class to just walk around. if you look up her examples on canvas you can just copy it.

Dr. Dodge is very friendly and approachable. She sets clear expectations and grades very generously. The midterm and final exam are a breeze, and she drops the lowest exam score. Take her class. You wont regret it!

This professor is very amazing. She drops the lowest grade which is great so it does not weigh you down whatsoever. She gives extra credit to the federal reserve bank and having a certain amount in your savings which is amazing. She does go through slides very fast so not to much time to write but they are on the files on canvas. Highly recommend!

Dr. Dodge is an incredible professor! There are four exams (lowest score is dropped), weekly assignments, a midterm project, and a final project. I know this sounds like a lot of work, but she is so supportive that it is completely doable. If you go to register and her classes is full, I highly recommend Dr. Patricia Lynn instead!

Dodge is a very nice and caring professor. She wants all her students to pass. There are 4 tests but she drops your lowest test score but u can use the study guide on the test so it's an easy. You write letters for every week, very easy, just follow her format and she provides examples on canvas. One group presentation, very easy. Easy A

Dr. Dodge is very kind and easy to approach. She uses her own business experiences as examples and provides a helpful study guide for tests. Gives long but easy homework and offers extra credit.

Super funny, super nice, gives really good information and gives really good study guides for the test. As long as you pay attention you can get an A. She isnt a tough grader but her tests are multiple choice so that part isnt on her. Overall loved her and the class.

She is a such a sweet old white lady. Assignments are so easy and are the same each week. I chose to do the half online/in class accelerated 8-week intro to BUS with Dr. Dodge. Easy A truly.

I took during the Fall of 2017 and she was excellent. 6 week course and there are weekly tests but she allows a full sheet of notes to use and provides study guides. She drops one test grade which is also helpful. Written letter assignments are provided with a template and she also gives extra credit. Group projects are also part of the course.

Dodge is great. She tells us how she has learned from her mistakes financially and always uses real life examples to make it easy to understand. Your allowed to use notes on the quizzes and there is homework but not a lot. Extra credit is also offered.

Comment:

I think this class is an easy A because she makes the assignments/ lectures interesting. The main concern here is that you understand the fundamental concepts, not so much memorizing a lot of information, so she lets you use notes on the tests. Very smart and nice, I would absolutely take her class again.

I took her for the 6 week course for BUS11A and it was last minute that I got an A in her class. Two extra credits opportunities that she offered where it helps your grade. Everyday there is a test but she allows notes from the study guide where it is easy. She drops only one test grade, one assignment, & only allows one redo on the essay. caring

Homework is a requirement; she is extremely picky when it comes to grading written assignments (letters). She drops one test grade and one assignment at the end of the semester. I personally didn't really enjoy the class and I wouldn't take her again.

Dr. Dodge is one of the best professors that I have had the pleasure of taking at PCC. Her class is simple but informative and she genuinely cares about all of her students. Test are based on the material that she goes over and also has many resources available through canvas and in person if needed.

She does give a solid amount of homework but it's all so easy. The assignments and projects are straightforward and I felt like I learned some valuable stuff from this course. She gives very clear directions for everything in the class which makes the assignments that much easier.
