If you participate actively in class, Dr. Sofalvi will really appreciate it. Hes a great guy. Very smart, sometimes witty. His PowerPoints are easy to copy down, just make sure youre actually in class and dont miss out. Goes over test questions the class before. Do the papers exactly as he instructs. Youll get an A. Wish he taught grad school!

His lectures are a bit dry but if you have to take 394 take it with him over Barton. He's an easy grader and reads the exact test questions from the final before hand. I've taken two classes with him and after while if you participate and see him out of class he's very easy going.

There are four easy papers, a mid-term and a final for HLH 394. All of the information on the tests is taken directly from the notes. Dr. Soflavi tells the class what questions to expect on the tests. He also brings interesting articles to discuss with the class that pertain to the topics being discussed in class. Attendance is mandatory.

Dr. Sofalvi prepares his students thoroughly for the needs assessment paper, which is factored as the majority of the grade, 60%; it is essential to put time, effort, and reliable research into the paper. It can range from 15 to 40 pages. He addresses issues the occur on papers in a timely manner. There APA quizzes along with a final. Not bad.

Health-Related Behavior Theory will be considered as one of your easiest health classes as a Community Health major.Four fair essays along with midterm and final, in which the professor will tell you the questions on each. This guy is something else. I feel bad for him, he's probably very lonely. He sets you off on this assessment paper without having any idea what you are doing or how to go about it, but you have 3 drafts to get it right. He tells you exactly what will be on the midterm, final , and quizzes.
