Really tough grader. Assignments require a lot of effort to get a decent grade. Tests are fairly simple. Provides study guides and follows them closely when making the exam. Lectures are fairly interesting. Offers a few extra credit opportunities. Optional Final. Would definitely recommend.

She's a tough grader but, it strives you to do well. She is clear and helpful and she just pushes her students to be more successful. She is always available for extra help if needed, and is great because she sets out to prove that Psychology is a serious and challenging field. I learned so much from this class that will stick with me forever.

Comment:

This is one of the most annoying teachers ever she never clearly says what she wants. Makes you take notes off a slideshow that have nothing to do with test. You write what she is saying to pass a test. Her Assignments are long and drawn out, she asks you to do extra worthless things that have nothing to do with the course. Don't take her class!!!!

VERY demanding teacher who runs a challenging class. She is extremely intelligent and knows her material - however, her tests are the most difficult ones I have ever taken. Also her class was probably the hardest I took at MSMC. She is helpful although you will still need to put your all into this class just to get a passing grade.

She's a tough grader, there is no doubt about that. But she is one of the most likable instructors I've had. She is clear and helpful and she just pushes her students to be more successful. She is there to assist whenever it is needed and she sets out to prove that Psychology is a serious and challenging field. She does so with great success.

DR. Maynard is a very nice lady, she is a tough grader on her assignments. However, i always did well on those. Her exams are extremely hard and you need to work your butt off and study for at least a week or more in advance. this class will consume your whole work schedule and you might even fine yourself lacking in your other classes.

Very nice lady, but her classes are extremely difficult. I never knew what she wanted in her classes. She would answer your questions without really helping you with your problem. Tests are fair but difficult. If you take her for experimental she's pretty critical with your final research paper. Harsh in terms of grading, nver knew what she wanted.

Dr. Maynard is the toughest psych professor at the mount. I have never taken a class as difficult to understand as experimental. She doesn't answer questions and won't go over your FINAL PAPER with you at all which is worth 45% of your grade. Take it with someone else, or you won't get an A.

Dr. Maynard's class was the hardest class I had. You really should go to class if you want to get a good grade in this class because if you don't the reading (which you absolutely NEED TO READ EVERY READING ASSIGNED!!) will be so much more confusing as it already is. She is really nice and helpful though!

Mrs. Maynard was a tough teacher. Her testing was hard to comprehend at first. You have to REALLY study for her tests. I had to study for a week in advance. Her labs require a lot of work. She treated my class like an honors class. I did not like it at all. If you don't want a hardcore techer. Do not pick her if you can't handle putting in work.

She is a pretty good teach, a super nice lady. As long as you do your work and show some effort she'll like you. The best thing to do is to answer her questions during class, she'll love it. The class has a good amount of work but it's not so bad. I've heard other psych teachers are easier.

I loved this teacher! She managed to keep my interest for the full (over an hour long) class, every class. Engaging and fun, and her tests are VERY fair. She doesn't try to trick you at all. Highly recommended!
