I don't like how we have to teach ourselves the power point bc we get a pop quiz, w/o even being taught the info prior. I also feel its irrelevant towards my major, but sadly its an FYE requirement. lastly I feel my opinion gets shut down, if you take this class participate with her opinion only. She knows her stuff but is unprepared to teach us.

Professor Bussigel is not a horrible professor by any means. Her class is definitely boring and she will call you out if she sees you on your phone during class. She also will make a snarky comment about how quiet the class is and participation does affect your grade so be careful.

She gives a pop quiz almost every time you come to class so you always have to be on top of what youre talking about in class. Also she gives out articles to read with questions that are difficult to understand.

Sociology was never really an interesting subject to me, but as we progressed in the class, and the discussions pertained to current day issues, it got interesting. The articles we had to read were long and difficult at times, and you really had to study to do well on the tests.

Avoid this class at all costs. Didn't learn a thing and she grades rediculous. If you go for extra help she'll brush you off and make you feel like you're not worth anything. Don't listen to the other reviews about how students are just lazy. The tests you take are irrelevant to the reading and notes you take. It's suppose to be an intro!

This course was a waste of time. Did not learn a thing and she made the course miserable. The tests are difficult no matter how long you study. She is hard to approach and when you do you regret it because she talks to you like you're a nobody. Don't let the other reviews fool you nobody I met enjoyed this class. It's Suppose to be an intro course!

She was very rude and inhumane. Was not sympathetic to me missing class and final even though I was in the hospital (and provided proof). She is the absolute WORST teacher I have ever had thus far. I hope to never encounter her again in life as she is NOT one of my favorite people.

Personally I had a good experience in this class. Yes, this class is not an easy A but if you work hard you will definitely receive the grade you deserved. I actually learned a lot in this class and once you get to know her she is actually very sweet.
