Professor Otero is amongst the best of the best. I my opinion, the very best! I have had many professors and teachers throughout my lifetime and I personally can't remember having a professor like this. Thurgood Marshall School of Law is so blessed to have. She is not an easy instructor by any means but if the goal is to practice law.....

She cares about her students. She gives a lot of work, but you will learn so much if you do the work, attend class, and take great notes. Attendance for her class is imperative. You should not need any supplements for this class if you follow all her instructions.

This woman is awesome, she is very intelligent, has worked as an attorney and is now a judge, yet she humbles herself to teach at a lower rated law school. I am so glad I chose this school because of her, I honestly feel I will do well on the Texas Bar because of her outstanding teaching style. She is a true angel.

Anyone who graduates from TMSL without taking a class from Prof. Otero has wasted his law school experience. She loves the law, loves her students, and will do everything she can to make sure you understand the subject matter. Very approachable.

I can promise you that there is not a professor in the state of Texas more adequately prepared to teach law school than this professor. She loves the law, cares for her students, and she will work you to death....promise.
