THIS WAS THE WORST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN!!! IF I KNEW IN THE BEGINNING OF THE SEMESTER WHAT I KNOW NOW I WOULD HAVE DROPPED THE CLASS AND TAKEN IT AT A DIFFERENT SCHOOL!BAD ABOUT REPLYING TO EMAILS AND GRADE REFLECTIONS. DR. Not clear on what she expects of students; very rude and unprofessional; hypocritical; the best example of what kind of teacher NOT to be. I am glad that I took it in a mini semester even thought it was the hardest class I have ever taken and I made an A, but it was extremely stressful. I wish that UAB offered another professor for this course.

I think I am the only one who liked her. Dont get me wrong she is hard and gives you a crapload of work. I have never cried so much over one class before! But she is cool, I took it in a month-long semester and I am SO glad I took it and got it over with and still made an A! Just stay on top of all assignments-dont wait til last min for anything!!

She is very hard. I took her class and got a D. I retook it and got an A. I suggest not to take but one other class with Child Development and Family Relations. Also, take it in the summer (July mini-term) because she is much easier.

Dr. Cellitti is very understanding once you get to know her. I thought she was funny, although she doesn't outwardly express many emotions. I am one of her rare "A" Students, so getting an A in her class can be done. Do your assignments, do them on time and professionally and you will be fine.
