Knows his stuff. Regardless of your political opinions he does have information to back up all claims (more than I can say for some geo & math teachers). Great course for learning about sustainable energy, technologies, assessment. Perfect course for getting a background knowledge of climate change, sustainability and environmental problems.

An amazing proff! knows the material very well, and is very passionate about teaching it. If you pay attention in class, and read the text his exams are a breeze. I would gladly jump at the opertunity to take another class with Andrew Weaver. I highly recomend this Proff!

Very interesting course material, but he tries to cover too much for a first year course. Weaver gets kind of disorganized during his lectures, I wondered all term if it was just that he isn't a morning person? Tries to teach at a higher level than should be required. C'mon, coriolis forces for first-year non-science people?

Knows what he's talking about and will answer questions to be understandable for everyone from second year physics student to elementary school teachers. You need to read the textbook to understand everything from class, but the course covers a huge range of topics and no prof could cover everything we need to know.

Hes super enthusastic and knowledgable and tries really hard. Hes also very willing to help one on one. His exams are a little unfair but if your a science student a lot of the stuff you know from other courses. Great prof, wish there were more like him.

Andrew Weaver is by far the worst professor I have ever had. He may have enthusiasm for the course but his lectures are complete junk. He makes no sense and stands up there and rants and raves like an idiot. If you have a desire to learn nothing during lectures and teach yourself everything after class then take his course.

He is a pretty decent prof. He tries really hard to teach the course to everyone (science students, edu students, etc.) which I admire but at the same time it gets a little fustrating. His tests are very hard! Very interesting class. Fun labs:)
