Comment:

As long as you show up, put your electronics away, pay attention, take notes, and participate, it's an easy A. If that's not you, take another professor. She gives chances for extra credit. She knows her subject and reviews for the midterm and final. The textbook adds to the lessons and is sometimes needed in class. I'd take her again if I could.

Incredibly mean. Has a weird thing about needing classroom participation, but will insult students who don't answer questions correctly, thus scaring other students away from participating. Also interrupts students in the middle of talking way too much.

Midterm and a final, that's all there is in this class. She can be a little bit unclear in what she wants, and she kinda expects people to write a short essays on the definitions that she gives on the midterm which is ridiculous! If you enjoy history take her, if not then take someone else. The class was informative but too boring!

I took Dr. Procyk back in Spring '13. The class is actually very informative. Thing is, most of her notes are verbal so you really have to pay attention. Other than that she was pretty good in my book. She doesn't give homework, and there are only 2 tests: the midterm & the final. But the final covers only the 2nd half of the semester on so it's ok

It's all lecture, and you're basically learning all the stuff you learned in high school over again in more detail. You need to take detailed notes and participate or you won't pass. She's incredibly irritating but you can get through it if you need the class.

She's a very nice professor, but she really doesn't like students who aren't taking the class seriously. She gives pretty good notes and there are only two tests the entire semester. She also gives an extra credit assignments. The textbook is required to some extent for some of the questions on the exams, but you'll still do well without it.

So yes she is boring! However, if you just want an easy class to boost your GPA, she is the professor! Didn't buy the book, glad I didn't because it isn't really needed. She lectures as well as writes on the board. Just listen, take notes, and you will be OK Easy Perfect A !!!

you need the text book. if you just show up to class and take good notes you will be fine. she reviews before each exam and there is only a midterm and final. options for extra credit also. BUY THE BOOK, amazon is cheap

She is nice, but the class is a little bit boring as well as she will jumps to different topics. Sometimes she talk this topic, suddenly she will talk about others. However, she gives us two tests, midterm and final, those questions are what she talk about in her class. listen to her and take notes, you will have a good grade

she's a bit boring, but she must be doing something right if I'm retaining information. Gives review sheets, but also reviews the day before exam, even "pop" quizzes. Will treat people like toddlers if they're not doing what they're supposed to. Keep up w/ reading and answer Q's in class and she'll leave you alone.

This lady is a pain in the you know what.she is all over the place. she has no course outline, unprepared for class, just babbles on about the same nonsense, gives a review sheet filled w/stuff we hardly ever talked about, students ask questions & she either ignores them or says shes not answering elementary questions, AVOID THIS CLASS! boring!

This professor is great. if you pay attention to her lectures you won't need to read everything in the book, because she reviews what we studied in the begining of every lecture. I learned alot from her class. besides she is a great story tellter. got to love her style.

She writes little or sometimes no notes on the board so the textbook is recommended. All she does is talk. But she gives u no homework,maybe read the book that's all.gives review sheets and goes thru it the day before the test.She is easy if u just read the text and listen to her in class but not really recommend.

Terrible professor. Even though I got a B+ in the class I have learned nothing. She always talks about how the people "felt" but never any events of the past. No one knew what we were learning. Nothing she talked about were on the tests. I only got such a high grade because I studied from the book. I would not recommend her.

If you're looking for an easy A, bs professor, look somewhere else. This course is hard - its a lot to learn and memorize. She does gives review sheets and does thorough reviews before tests though. If you want to challenge yourself, take this course. If not, what are you doing in college?

She knows her history and if u listen carefully u can learn a lot. Her exams are easy cuz she goes over everything in class and even gives u a review sheet. u have to be a moron or excessively absent to fail her class.
