Comment:
Dr. Yeagle is amazing! So responsive and caring however the class was very disorganized. There was SO MUCH going on it was hard to figure out what we were supposed to be turning in. Keep in mind this is a half semester course. Be prepared for group presentations, an individual presentation, group papers and LOTS and LOTS of reading. Keep up.

Class feels very left-leaning politically. I've taken two classes from her, and she assigns great books to read. I probably learned more from reading those books than I did from lectures in class, which can want for rich content. She makes a concerted effort to be cheerful. She never really uses graphs or numbers more complicated than a percentage.

Anne is such a good teacher. This was my second class with her, and it did not disappoint. Read the homework and do the review sheets she gives you and you will do great on the tests and in the class there is also a group presentation where you will learn a lot and then present.

Anne is such an incredible teacher. The only way you wont do well is if you dont do the readings. She takes ECON and makes you look at it in a whole different way. I loved this class and Anne is one of my favorite teachers at the U.

Unfortunately this is just not an ECON class. I took this class, healthcare economics, excited and hopeful to learn more about economics in healthcare. If you're looking for a sociology/philosophy course, look no further. If you want ECON, stay way. You will learn nothing about economics, truly unfortunate and lots of pointless reading.

Dr. Yeagle's class is a paradox, her class instead of having mid-term or final exams, she will give lots of quizzes or exams during the semester, which is nice, but be aware, with the quizzes, there also have group presentations, individual presentation, and group papers, AND TONS OF READING!! and never ever miss single one of the class. stress out

Dr. Yeagle is my favorite professor at the U. Economics is a topic that can very easily become dry and detached, despite having enormous implications on human livelihood. She makes it very personal, thoughtful, and will make you consider your own beliefs without attacking you. Everyone should take a class from her, seriously! Take the class!

This woman isn't just a stellar professor, but an amazing person. She is smart, funny, and strong. She encourages open and real discussions. Begins class with a mindfulness exercise. Great group project with relevant topics. Awesome guest lecturers. Assigned readings are a must, they are engaging and important. Learning from her should be mandatory

This was one of my favorite classes of all time. Dr. Yeagle is strong, smart, and caring. She'll make you consider the deeper implications of every reading. This class will challenge you without murdering you. I'm going to take classes from her in the future!

Easily the most left-wing teacher I've taken at the U. The class is labor econ, but you will spend the entire semester talking about subjects from socialism and Marxism to white privilege and the evils of America and its corporations. This isn't inherently bad; students should have their beliefs challenged. But just know it's very political

Starts each class with meditation/mindfulness. Lots of articles to read along with a couple of books, some have study guides. Gives extra credit on tests. Likes when students speak up in class. Willing to talk about potentially controversial topics. If you are easily offended, do not take this class.

Dr. Yeagle is by far one of the best professors I have had at the U. She is clear with her assignments and grading, gives her students every opportunity to succeed, and she makes learning fun! Not only is she professional, but she is personable. If you are an economics student and you don't take her class you are missing out!

Half semester class, and only once per week. Zero exams, and the assignments were extremely simple. The class is designed to introduce you to the HSP major, so it's super laid back. There was a group project near the end which I didn't love, but it wasn't difficult by any means. Anne is very caring and understanding, and was very lax on grading.

Her class was so interesting and has been my favorite class ever! Since it was a half sem. course, we had to read A LOT, and 80% of every class period consisted of an exam. Her exams weren't hard if you actually do your readings or finish your study questions! most of the exam questions came from that. 10/10 would take a class from her again.

This was a half-semester class but she was an awesome teacher. Always willing to help with any questions you may have. Textbook isn't required. We wrote several short-essays and did a group project towards the end. If you show up to class and participate you will get an easy A. Love her! Will take her for other classes

This class was only half a semester but it went by pretty quick. It was really easy so long as you did you work. A few assignments that were pretty straight forward and then a group project that was kind of annoying but yet still pretty easy.

She should be teaching philosophy, as mentioned by others, she is a very nice person and an easy A. However, her Sex Drugs and Crime class has almost nothing to do with economics, she never mentioned the black market once during the entire semester. Her, extreme leftist political agenda can be hard to tolerate.

Anne Yeagle is one of the most caring, fair, and helpful professors I've ever had. I truly learned so much from her class. She is really open to opinions and doesn't hesitate to voice hers, which leads to great class discussions. If you do the reading and participate in class, you will get an A. Honestly, she's one of the best at the U.
