Comment:

Prof. Wongs course was the hardest one I have taken so far at WCSU. I usually end the semester with A-Bs in all of my courses, however, barely passed this one. She is extremely hard on the students, telling them to drop the course and take it with someone else. We didnt even take all 4 of the exams, so the 3rd was a mixture of 2 exams into one.

Comment:

I took her for 310 and it was a wake up call. I questioned whether or not Finance was right for me because of this class, but I studied hard and passed. It will be difficult but if you put in the hours you will do fine. It was one of the more difficult Finance classes I had taken, they get easier as you advance.

Dr Wong is a very objective person. She runs the class like the military. In this class you are graded strictly on what you know or what you don't know. There is no extra credit or curves. There are only three exams. If you fail the first exam you will probably fail the course unless you get tutoring and do extremely well on the last two.

Get ready to feel like you are back in middle school. No food or drinks including gum and water. No leaving the class unannounced. Questions are not allowed until "question time." Must memorize every formula, doesn't give formula sheet for tests. Very rude and encourages you to drop out of the course. Do NOT take her!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many people dislike wong but she is a great prof. She tests you on the information from her powerpoints, word for word and gives you countless practice problems during class to make you understand the material.. Theres no reason not to get a B+ or higher if you memorize the lecture notes word for word. There are no curve balls on the exams

Anybody who complains about her simply does not know how to follow class rules, and are not good note takers. She is very organized with her lecture, and as long as you take good notes and study hard you will get an A. You barely have any need for the book, and she definitely begins to warm up to the class over time. Great professor.

test are hard. yells randomly. after 1st test she points out if yougot lower than a B on her test to drop the class even though it is 25 % of the grade the next part is like 35%. Dont drop it because she wants a higher teacher rateing.

dont take her she locks you out of the room as soon as she get's in. at way she can make you not their . Study have taken notes out in the hall before because of it. hard to listen to her accent is tough, very rude in class cannot have water,nor chew gum or she will yell and not teach the class until you leave. Tests are from the notes but not all.

She has some pretty ridiculous rules and she will give pointless lectures on gum chewing and saving questions till "question time". Besides that, she is very straightforward and if you study your notes and pay attention in class, the exams are fairly easy. As long as you can tolerate her stupid rules and pay attention, take her.

Very straight forward and to the point. If you're wrong she will tell you you're wrong. As long as you do what she says and do the work she lays out for you, an A or B is easy. Test material is DIRECTLY from the packets she hands out. If you know the packet, you know the test.

Comment:

She is pretty strict over all, and she is not afraid to point out any of your mistakes. Still, her overall teaching is very reasonable and understandable. I will recomend it to any of you who is not afraid of doing some work.
