He's a nice, friendly guy. He tries to make it interesting and is a really good teacher. He's very helpful if you have questions, however, there are a TON of notes! But the tests come from the notes. So go home EVERY night and study and you should be fine.

Very nice and amazing professor! Class is fairly easy, if you STUDY HIS NOTES. He rushes through the power-points at time, but he allows you to type up the notes (if you're a slower writer). Don't really need the book for his class. Show up to class, take down notes, and STUDY HIS NOTES! you'll ACE his test by just studying his notes!!! good luck!!

Nice enough guy. The only grades are tests, at least for General Bio. And they aren't easy either. I still did alright. Def memorize the notes to the best of your ability. If you're looking for an easy A, you may want to look elsewhere.

Class is very difficult, but Dr. Stan is a good professor. He does a good job of using "real world" examples to try and help the class understand. A lot of notes and tests are not easy. Grade must be earned.

Great teacher. He is funny and really knows what he is talking about. He will gladly help you if you make an effort to be helped. You take a lot of notes, but if you don't attend, you can still find study guide answers in the book. Clarity is 'incomprehensible' only because I don't understand biology period. If you make an effort, you'll be fine.

Hard class, I failed the first two tests and I went to talk with him about my grade and he was very helpful and suggested tutoring with my lab professor. After hours and days of tutoring I did extremely better on the tests and became a little interested in the subject too. I got a C for the class, nice guy but hard!!

The first day of class, it seemed like it was goin to be an easy A but it is the hardest class ive ever taken. I studied his study guide for hours and still made Fs on the first 2 tests. You have to read a million pgs of notes a million times to maybe get a C. Funny guy, but dont take him.

My favorite teacher by far. He's extremely smart, genuinely interested in the subject and clear on what his expectations are. I got an A in his class by mainly studying his lecture notes. I would definitely recommend him.

Some of my friends were in Butler's class and they had to learn so much more stuff than I did. No matter which prof. you take, you're going to have to study your butt off. He tells you exactly what you need to know on each test on the very first day. Take him instead of Butler. Some of my friends took Butler and said that he is harder than Dr. Stan

Dr. Stan is an awesome teachers. One of the best I had. He knows what he is talking about. He is a hard teacher, so if you want a walk in the park class, don't take him. Test are fairly easy IF YOU STUDY!! All his test are straight from his notes, just PAY ATTENTION!

Dr. Stan has a well-deserved reputation for being very difficult. His class isn't impossible, but you will do a lot of studying. I made a B with more effort than I was putting out in higher-level classes where I made an A. I hear it's bad with anyone, but I also hear the other professors are a lot more helpful.

Do not take this teacher, he is horrible. I got "a's" in every class but his which I got a "d" in and there is nothing he will do to help you out. he goes through the notes WAY to fast. I have never had to study so much in my life and i still did horrible. His notes are boring and you just want to fall asleep. STAY AWAY FROM DR. STAN

Everyone who claims Tony is a horrible teacher needs to wake up! He is hard but in my eyes, this is college not high school. So either grow up and live in the real world, or go for easy teachers whos class you may get an A in but ypou don't learn anything!!

STAY AWAY! After 3 years he is the worst teacher I've had at UCO. He rushes through a ton of powerpoints and then leaves during lab so you can't ask him questions. Lecture tests are ridiculously hard. He will not curve so don't even ask. If you have to take Dr. Stan study the lecture notes every night, fill out the review and memorize everything!
