Lectures are boring but he really wants his students to do well. Quizzes and midterms are exactly like the ones he gives you for practice and he also gets a lot of problems from the solution manuel so I would advise getting that. If you have trouble go to office hours and he will help you a lot! Not as bad of a class as people say.

I could not stand the lectures; they were SO BORING! He seemed like he really wanted students to do well, but I found his explanations to be vague and confusing. I thought this class was very difficult for a 101 level.

Nice guy. Not great teacher. Boring and almost reads straight from the book. However, very FAIR. Seems to really care that students get it. gives sample quizzes and tests, which not all chem profs do. Read the book and do the hmwk, and you'll be fine.

A very kind man, but not a great teacher. Very willing to help outside of class. Does try to help in office hours, but sometimes just confused me more. Take the 48 min class instead of the 78 if you can. 78 min of him lecturing gets very looooong. Exams are difficult.

He is a very helpful guy and he's kind hearted. It is a difficult course, he doesn't curve very well, and the tests are hard, but he offers any help you could possibly need. Also shoes concern for every one of his students.
