He's actually really easy. Gets his questions from the test and notes which you have to take. can only miss 2 classes, didn't know many of our names though, thats a shame! His lectures put you to sleep, but if you look at the notes before the test, you'll get an A. 3 tests, 2 math, 1 theory, and a final. Good luck!

Had him for fundamentals and O-chem. Moves extremely quickly through notes, but doesn't make you read the textbook. Very hard grader; usually, you lose all the points in a problem if you get one part wrong. Gives extra credit on exams. A bit stern, but very straightforward.

In orgo, Felix is cool but he can be a bit of a jerk at times. In biochem, however, he is the complete opposite. Felix really wants to see you do well and takes time to answer any questions that are tricky. He made biochem, a tricky subject, come alive and I did really well as a result. If you can, take this class with him!

omg I looove Dr. Felix!!he is such a nice person and great professor!!def helped you out if you needed him, was always available for office hours or whenever and even though chemistry is not my area of interest, I didnt hate it that much. Very smart and knowledgeable professor, you can really learn alot in his classes!:)

He's a very good teacher, he may go fast, but as long as you get the notes down, do the homework questions and pay attention you can do very well. He always goes over the homework and uses very similar questions sometimes exact on the tests which he also always goes over. He wants everyone to understand and as long you study you can do fine.

FundChem I. There's know question that this guy knows his stuff! What's questionable is whether he can get it across to his students. If I hadn't had great prior knowledge of basic chem, I probably would've been lost in his explanations. I'm particularly not a fan of how he responds to his students, can sound a bit condescending at times.

Orgo I and II. First off, I LOATHE chemistry, so I am biased in that regard. Still much of the class doesn't get what the hell is going on with the H and bonds and arrows and mechanisms. He gets pissed if no one can answer questions. Instead of going over material he'll rub it in your face that you saw it, why wasn't it memorized!!! Be careful.

Biochem was the most boring class and a painful 8am. It was very easy and about 50% of the material are introductory and have been given in earlier classes. He made us write everything down which was completely annoying and took up so much time that he couldn't cover more material. Its all about memorizing with no understanding to earn an A.

Definitely recommend. Felix is a brilliant man and you feel like your learning a lot in his class. Only downside is the tests. They can be tough, with some questions coming out of left field. On top of that, he can be a jerk of a grader. If you make one simple mistake he might take off for the entire problem (like 10 points)l

Orgo is not an easy class but Felix explains everything in detail. Homework is a must for extra practice. His tests are a little tough but he goes over everything afterward. Felix has a few quirks but overall he's a cool guy and you take a lot out of his class.

Well, Felix was a good teacher he made the material clear 98% of the time. I didn't agree with his grading policies though- there's almost no room for error. Tests were not impossible but not a cake walk, they were fair to demonstrate the student's ability. Your grade reflects the amount of work you put into the class. Recomend

Biochemistry is a MUST for any serious science major. First two exams are easssy if u study. Final Exam is a little hard. He is totally different from organic chem. he is much more easy going in this class. TAKE HIM!!!

Well-taught material, HW was helpful for the exams, tutoring is a plus, and exams are similar to HW and lecture examples. Granted, exams were tough but manageable. Final Exam was really hard. Tons of reactions, but easy after some practice. He teaches the material very well, friendly, and is highly recommended for Organic 1&2. Great professor! A+
