Hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. I've taken 4 classes with her and would gladly take more. She really loves the CJ field and actually cares about her students. Plus, she has the best stories. Take her!

Comment:

Had her for several classes but this was Crime and Media. Simple class, watched crime films and had 5 page papers every week on the films we watched. Grades those easy but the midterm and finals are hard. Also, 10 pg research paper and presentation at end of semester. Lots of writing for an average grade but not too bad of a class.

i liked her. many movies, but they are mostly modern, interesting movies. tests are a bit hard, but she is leniant. our midterm and final were take home tests. a couple essays, but they are not hard. i recommend her

I have taken 4 classes with Professor Rockell and she is one of the most knowledgable teachers that I have had at Fisher. She is also my advisor, and she is has helped me shape my future after Fisher. She's the best!

gives take home tests that are difficult but possible to get good grades on them, grades papers really easily, doesnt care about attendance or participation, overall a good choice for an easy A, but is extremely unhelpful if she's your advisor

Realistic and straightforward. kinda liberal and a little cynical, but very informed. she's been in criminal justice for a long time and has a lot of awesome stories. great tteacher to have if you don't mind her having a perspective-its not an agenda.
