Math dos not come easy to me. She is a wonderful teacher, though. She really wants her students to learn. She even sometimes has a tendency to over simplify, but for someone like me who has been out of high school for 10+ years , it was nice to have someone go slowly to make sure that everyone understood. Highly recommended!

I found this teacher entertaining and sincere but very difficult to follow. She goes out of order on the book which makes keeping up confusing. I loved math and excelled at it until this class. I ended up having to drop it.

She's amazing and cares about her students individually and as a whole class definitely a professor that cares about her students and as long as she sees you wanting to succeed she will help you succeed I definitely recommend her!

She will offer you help and constantly suggest the Lab if you need additional aid. You will not be allowed to use a calculator in class. There will be many exams but no homework. She will forget which Math course she's teaching; you'll have to keep her on track. She will write up equations incorrectly and expect you to call her out on it.

Would NOT advise anyone that has been out of the college seen for 5 years plus to enroll in Mrs. Gile's class. She expects you to be on your 'A' game and does not believe in reviewing. Expect to teach yourself via textbook and go over any questions during the next class. Lots of group work, so you'd better have some buddies!

Is super focused on keeping you on track. I am a TERRIBLE math learner, especially in visual/spatial mathematics. Managed to get a B in this class, my first B on a math class in college, because of her! She can be impatient sometimes, but will work with you.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Extra credit and helpful handouts. Reasonable tests, lectures are tough to follow at times, but work the problems and you will be fine. She is concerned with your success and wants you to ask questions and give feedback. Recommended.

Excellent use of text book and regular class short tests that add up for credit towards final grade, you take your lowest exam and replace with ten of twelve quiz scores that are challenging but not difficult. There are always extra credit questions on every exam paper.Revise, work hard, ask questions and an A is within your reach.

Ms. Gile is truly great!! She is very clear and helpful. Her tests are very reasonable...not too hard. She even lets you replace your lowest test grade with your quiz scores...great safety net!! I swear by her..I won't take any other teachers class.
