Comment:

She has an interesting sense of fashion, and no interest in teaching you a problem the easy way. She insists on using complex explanations leaving the entire class scratching their heads. She gives out a massive amount of homework that is a really small fraction of your final grade. If you actually need to learn math like me... DONT TAKE HER!

Horrible teacher. Do not take her. I am good at math and totally failed. the way she runs the class is like a set up for failure. our final- 35 questions...200 points. she doesn't teach she just puts problems up on the board and expects you to know how to do them. DONT TAKE HER DONT DO IT. DONTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

I got a high B in 265a, and an A in 283...granted 265a is a hard class, she is a horrible teacher. Sorry but she just was n't good. Test's aren't bad she just didn't teach the material that well. quize's every week took a tole and her HW policy earned me a 50% when i did most of it. I don't slack off and I'm pretty good at math. don't take her

Started with a packed class with people still trying to add, the average score on the first test was a 57%. So only about 10 stayed through the semester. I didn't listen in class and just did the homework while there... if you can learn that way it's easy, but don't expect to learn to much from her. She knows her stuff, just doesn't convey it well.

Be prepared for homework everyday, and not even worth a decent proportion of your grade. Some questions on tests were not mentioned in class nor the textbook. Never went over questions on quizzes or tests. This class was miserable and I never looked forward to it. Avoid taking this teacher.

Out of class with 40 STUDENTS, now has only 7 left in class with maybe 5 PASSING!!! Doesn't teach why/how to do problems, and floods students with homework. Students learn more for textbook. Tests include questions and ideas not mentioned. Look at the facts and don't take this teacher!

Great teacher. Knows her stuff, makes it make sense. Always takes time to answer questions in class and it's always ok to ask a dumb question - she never makes you feel dumb, and she will never call you on without your ok. Homework was intense, but without it I wouldn't have learned as much or received as good a grade.

She made this class more difficult than it should have been. She is a nice lady but doesnt explain things very well all the time. She rushes her stuff and wont go over things again if theyve already been discissed so sucks for you if you dont know it

Math gets abstract at times, but she makes it as concrete as it can get. She always encourages questions, is very helpful, and her tests are very reasonable. I took 65B with her, because I enjoyed her teaching style so much.
