Dr. Sabak was the kind if teacher you WANTED to do well for. It's almost as if her brilliant lectures deserved no less than the listening assignments that accompanied them. I'm not a pianist but she was my favirite teacher and I so bummed she disnt have a Russian Music class when I took her in 97-98.

Dr. Sabak is a brilliant person and teacher. As a music major, I was well acquainted with her. Piano was more excellenent than words. Music History very challenging and rewarding. Piano as well... Take her!!

I had her for Music and Listening and Piano lessons. She is a fabulous teacher. She challenges you and yes, her classes are hard. But she does what she can to help you and is very available outside of class. She is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet and very knowledgable about music and composers. If you get a chance, take her class!

Dr. Sabak is one of the most intelligent professors in the music department. Trying to cram all of her knowledge of the day's subject into that class period was difficult for her. I feel I have a wonderful music history background and I loved the class. The tests were hard and the listenings were even harder. A sweeter lady you'll never meet and I can't wait for her Russian music class in the spring.

This teacher is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet, but the most boring. She can't teach at all. Her method is rediculous and impossible. Most do mediocre in her class, which should be a sign of her lack of teacher. So intelligiant, but unefficiant...

This woman will do anything to see her students succeed. She doesn't like to fail anyone and will give you extra credit. she genuinely cares. Doesn't get caught up in the politics of the department and can always be a trusted person to confide in.

You could learn to play piano on your own better than you can with her. She will compliment you during lessons then stab you in the back when grades come around. She offers little help. Take piano with someone else.
