She's a very sweet lady & wants all to succeed. She's a bit scattered when it comes to lab procedures. We had 3 lab reports due at the end of the semester. She changes her class due dates often, so its annoying to know what is actually due on what days. Besides that, she was great. Great labs/lectures & a fun Group Presentation. Exams can be hard

She is a very confusing professor. I was a biology major and really enjoyed biology until taking her class. I actually switched my major, she made me HATE biology. Tests are impossible

I found her lectures to be terrible. She stumbles over her words constantly and doesn't explain anything thoroughly. Rushes through Powerpoints, and when someone asks her a question she hardly ever knows how to answer. Exams are tough, all multiple choice. I won't take her again.

Took the mushroom, mosses, and more class with her. Easily the WORST teacher I have ever had. Very intelligent, but has no organization or teaching skills to speak of. Exams were 3 very specific essays so was very difficult to study for. Thankfully you will get an A for 60% of your grade if you do well in lab and in your collection.

Honestly if people go to the class its really not that hard,exams are extremely straightforward and really not that difficult. She is extremely fair at grading and its really hard to do poorly if you study. Easy A

This woman is almost impossible to understand. As a bio major transfer i was forced to retake this class. she is the most incompetent woman i have met. she knows about biology, but has no idea HOW to teach. she writes everyone off like she doesnt care. awful, and avoid her as a teacher. bio 121 is simple, and she makes it confusing!!!!

nice lady for the most part, she explains things well. however, the order in which things are explained are jumbled.. so it gets kind of confusing at times. if you put in any effort at all outside of class you'll definitely pass. she gives extra credit if she see's you putting in the effort.. i'd take her again

cannot transition from one topic to another. pretty unclear in lecture.knows her stuff but CANNOT verbalize it. read chapters before class, it helps. tests are impossible, a built in curve is in the syllabus. i'm a bio major and have previously learned this stuff and still had trouble with this class, avoid her if possible.

I can't believe I didn't comment sooner, I had her in Spring '07 and I hated this woman. My friend and I made fun of her the whole time. She does not have coherent thoughts, and she accidentally wrote on the wall, thinking it was the white board. Her exams are horrid and so is the 15 paged paper you have to write.

She is a nice teacher and offers help. All classes are done by powerpoint so all notes can be accessed on the internet which is really helpful. She gives some homework and review sheets to help grades and with test prep. Also offers review sessions.

The class was wetlands which is her specialty as well as mine. I rated her class as average in for (easy/hard) because there is alot of memorizing and concepts one has to understand, but if you attend class and do your work you'll be able to do just fine. She is extremely helpful and very approachable so I adopted her as my advisor. I owe her alot

This lady was awesome...everyone who posts here has got her all wrong. Sure, her tests may be a little hard, but if you study, you'll do just fine. She is very funny at times (especially in lab)
