I loved this class. Professor Neville is funny, entertaining, and actually cares about his students. I learned so much and actually remember it all because his lectures were really interesting. He's a fair grader and his tests aren't too hard if you pay attention and take notes. Love is the answer!

Attended ESCC in 2000 and had Mr. Neville for two world history classes. I never missed a class because I looked forward to his lectures. Highly entertaining and immensely informative. I retained most of the information learned in those two classes and attribute that solely to Barry Neville. If you have a chance, take his class!

He's the nicest teacher I've ever had. He puts so much energy and enthusiam into his lectures that you don't mind taking pages of notes. Tests are easy, usually multiple choice with short answers and a long essay thrown in. You don't use the textbook alot, but you read a book or two.

Absolutely phenominal professor. He lectures with immense clarity on the subject at hand and is extremely knowledgable on all subject matter he teaches. He has a contageously positive attitude that makes you feel good about learning (which is rare these days) and a sense of humor to match. I attend GMU and still have not had a better professor.
