Really invests in his students-especially if you go to his office hours. he stayed 5 extra hours tutoring me when I missed his class for a week. this is above the call of duty.

I love this prof. he spends hours with me when I did not understand something. I had a family tragedy and Prof Shahir privately tutored me, way beyond his office hours to help me out. This guy lives for his students success. he got my friend a job and wrote a letter of recomendation for me too. I think he was the best professor i had at devry.

For some weird reason, that class is a BLURR now. I think It must've happened in a past life. But when I was in it, it made sense when I need it to make sense, thanks to Prof. Shahir, math and DSP extraordinaire. Great teacher, and was very approachable. A+ teacher.
