Comment:
Bill lectures for the most part but it ends up being more of a class discussion the majority of the time. He is passionate about the subjects he is teaching and cares for the wellbeing of his students. He showed an eagerness to get to know me as a person and asked to speak with me outside of class just for the sake of getting to know to me better

Although he lectures almost all the class periods, he is clearly passionate about whatever he is teaching and makes you want to be engaged in the subject. Does not give homework but expects you to do the readings (arent hard if kept up with). He will do everything in his power to give you a good grade and genuinely cares about you as a person.

Comment:
Bill was my professor for the HIS senior seminar. He was very specific on the senior project (HIS of Minneapolis during Progressive Era) and if you did not like the topic you were out of luck. BUT he was super helpful in writing your 20 page paper. Essentially if you tried on your paper, you got an A. Also, prepare to be in the archives A LOT

Very interesting lectures, and keeps class moving. One major flaw is he is very disorganized, and technologically challenged. Old school professor, no bells and whistles. Cut and dry, if you're not there to participate, your grade will suffer.

I took his American Legal History Class and he was awesome. He was challenging, but his class was interesting and I really learned a lot from him. There were many students in our class who wanted to go to law student and he really tailored assignments to our specific needs. He also gave students options for assignments to better suit their learning style.

I really like Professor Green's lectures. They're so intense and interesting. However, his tests have little to nothing to do with what we studied, and that's all he grades on.
