Such a wonderful professor. She intimidated me before I took her class, but she is really not intimidating at all. She's a wonderful reason to take this class. It's fun, it's educational, and it's amazing.

Dr. Valerio's methods work with spot-on accuracy, but they're tailored for bad musicians. There is no room or requirement for the teacher to think on his/her feet. The methods force one to teach like a robot.

I love Dr. Valerio! I learned so much in that class. My roommate is actually having to teach his 4 and 5 year old's by himself for the first time and he went and looked through his music play book and found a bunch of great stuff! It saved him!

She is a great teacher!! She is full of energy and loves children. Be prepared to sing to children. A few times throughout the semester you will be video taped and graded on how well you did. This class involves a lot of movement!

Granted I am not going to pass this class this semester, she is a great teacher and I am retaking the class next semester, the reason for not passing is because I had too many absences from being sick. You should definetly take Dr. Valerio, she wrote the book and knows what is goign on in class,FUN!

Although she is a big spaz, her methods are proven in the choirs students get to work with. She is so willing to the extra distance to help every student fix thier problems, and she knows when she was wrong and is willing to admit that!
