Sleeper is an awesome teacher. Makes class time useful with a short lecture and usually a group activity for a few easy points. Go to class, pay attention, and you will do fine in this class. I wouldn't take it with any other Blaw professor.

I had Professor Sleeper during the intersession and this guy is the bomb. This was an awesome class. I can see argument to make it part of the core requirement. Sleeper does an awesome job putting things in a real life perspective also. Go to class, do the homework and you should be fine.

Wow! What a great teacher! I learned alot of useful information from the class. There is hardly ever homework and the night before the test I read the packet you can buy for $8 and got an A in the class! I don't know how so many people could fail the tests- just listen in class and read the short packet. The actual book is $$$ and useless.

He allows the class to set the pace. Alot of in class work with your groups. If you go to class you will do fine. He explains the law how it works in real life. Very understanding great prof. wish all my teachers would use his teachng style.

Class time was very interesting. However, the tests don't necessarily reflect your knowledge. You could memorize the entire packet and still get a C or less on the test. It's more of a critical thinking and application of law than knowing the laws themselves. Which in the real world is how it works I guess, but it can be very frustrating.

I did not have much interest in law going into this course but prof. sleeper made it interesting and used real life scenarios to demonstrate how various laws work through skits and actual examples. He teaches you stuff that you will use outside of class. Grade score sheets updated after every test, easy to approach and get help from. BEST PROF EVER

Professor Sleeper is a wonderful instructor for this course! He is very informative and explains real life story's to help you learn legal terms and concepts! I would take him as a professor any day! He is an awesome instructor that cares about his students and helping everyone learn the material easily! By far the best professor I've had so far!

Comment:

One of my favorite professors at SCSU. It's not very often you get professors who love coming to class day, but prof sleeper did. The class isn't easy, you need to work to get an A. Some tests are curved, but once you get the hang of them they aren't too bad. Would take this prof. again in a heartbeat.
