Dr. Marino is one of the most amazing professors I've ever had the privilege to learn from. If I believed in reincarnation (which I don't) I'd swear he was the reincarnation of CS Lewis. He presents the most amazing mixture of genius, kindness, compassion, comic wit and sincere humility. He regards himself as a servant to the students. Priceless.

I think his classes were easy. I was in them near 05. I don't think it's merely "lazy" students that find him to be unorganized. I graduated with a 3.95 GPA, and thought that though he is of superior intelligence compared to various other professors... He is indeed- incredibly lazy as to his teaching manner. His philosophies were not new to me.

I have to agree with everyone else and say, he is brilliant. I enjoyed his jokes, and I don't have a dry sense of humor... you just have to get them. His teaching was quites irrelevant at times, can't say I didn't take my share of skips. Amazing theology!

I can't lie-this man's dry sense of humor and jokes made me question if he was teaching or telling a joke. I wondered if my Sunday School Teacher was wrong or if I just didn't pick up that Marino was telling a joke. Doesn't care about skips and you pick what you want your grade to be, and you just do the work. (Yes, those are bongs in his office!)
