Comment:

Dr. Galloway was a great professor, his teaching style is old fashioned but you learn so much. There is a test for each chapter which is great for improving your grade and cumulative final. Do the lab pages because it's easy points. There are two lab practicals which he gives study guides on. Can always know your grade in class, just ask.

Comment:

One of the best professors! . If you want to do anything in the medical field you have to take him. He's a retired surgeon so he really teaches the most important things you need to know to prepare your for your career. I Took it in the summer so there was an exam on basically every 1-2 chapters, 2 Lab Practicals, & 1 cumulative final. But doable!

Nice man, but archaic teaching style. Pay close attention to the things he SAYS because they will show up on the tests. Hard to reach outside class. The class is one where you have to study on your own and truly UNDERSTAND what you are learning to work for the grade. Very detail oriented and practically a self teaching class. Consider carefully!!!!

Dr. Galloway is one of the best teachers I've ever had. You'll get an A if you show up to class, which should be a no-brainer since you're paying for the class. As a General Surgeon, he'll teach you only the things you need to know. His memorable stories make it easy to remember things for the tests. Just take diligent notes and you'll be fine!

If you are passionate about learning anatomy then this is your guy. He has a thorough real world understanding of the material and will tell you exactly what you need to know and what to discard. Nothing online in this class everything is done by writing on paper which I was a big fan of. Print the course outline and take notes during lecture.

Dr. Galloway is such an amazing professor. You won't find anyone who cares about the human body more than him. He cares about each of his students and is willing to help you anyway he can. If you study and pay attention in class, there's no way you won't pass.

This professor really cares about the human body. He was a general surgeon and he loves to use past cases to prove his points. He really cares about teaching his students and It really makes you feel like you matter. The class is mostly lecture but he makes it bearable. I'm taking him again for A&P 2

Awesome teacher! Took him for A&P I and II. He gives you his course outline and thats literally all you need to study for the tests. He's a really nice guy that wants his students to do well. I can't think of a more qualified person to teach this class considering his extensive experience as a surgeon. Definitely take him!

Dr. Galloway is a retired general surgon who doesn't post anything online. He gives out his phone number and is always available for help. You can use any Anatomy book from any year as long as you have one. He lectures off power points and doesnt conduct ant disections. His tests are off of the things he lectures so always take notes.

Dr. Galloway is the best! Just study the materials and TAKE NOTES. This is not an easy course but I really enjoyed his class and I actually miss it!!! His style of teaching is old school but it worked for me. His stories were very interesting. Take him and you will love anatomy and physiology!

I loved attending Dr. Galloway's class. As a retired general surgeon, he brings a ton of knowledge to the class by sharing cases he had and keeps things interesting. He is witty, smart, and very fair. It isn't an easy subject but he narrows it down to what is important. I'm sad the semester is over...I actually looked forward to his class!

Knows so much and put it into real life situations when your in the field.7 am wasnt too bad knowing I was going to his class. Most passionate teacher I know because he just does this for fun!theres 6 tests bc u only had 1 or 2 chpts max on a test. Study off his lecture notes and your golden. Labbook hw due weekly. He is seriously the best!

This is a very difficult class, especially since I took it at 7 in the morning. Have to listen to his lectures and take notes, otherwise you will fail the course or get a low grade. Take the extra credit he offers, you will need it. Lectures off of a projector, nothing else. No online communication whatsoever. (emails, Atlas, etc.)

Dr Galloway is amazing. He is all about being fair. He tells you what you need to know. He puts together helpful study guides for the (2)lab practicals and the final exam. There is no midterm. Show up to class on time and do not leave early. Attendence is very important. He also offers one extra credit assignment. He is very knowledgeable!

He's really great. I'm so glad I'm taking his class. He's a retired surgeon, and points out things that are important unlike others who ask even the slightest, unnecessary details on the test. His lessons are also related to his work experience. You'll learn a lot. No HW. Study for the test and don't leave early during class.

He is a great professor. He was an E.R. Surgeon so he puts A&P into real life situations. Read his outline and you will get an A in his tests. Only down part is that we do not do any dissections in his class.
