no one can get A in her class. Deduct points for stupid things. Her assignment requirements are always confused. She likes to give you C or lower. All my classmates got C for most of the essays. Terrible experiences. We have 5 essays and 1 final essay written in class. Total 6 essays in a semester.

Comment:

Professor Koehler had be worried when she gave back my essays because I never really got the grades I expected. Some times they were better than expected and sometimes they were worse. She is a genuinely kind teacher and I am very thankful that she was so kind and willing to help all her students who ASKED FOR IT. Boring class but great teacher.

She was very willing to help with questions, but she had no idea now the English computer modules work. Most of the class did not the English writing lab, because she did not help with the lab work. She was there to answer questions not teach.

Unlike many other teachers, she is honest. She's a good teacher to take if you actually care about strengthening your writing skills. The people that say she is "boring" probably don't like to think critically or write for that matter. If you are serious about your education, take her. She is also very sweet and helpful.

This professor is amazing! Difficult class for most students because they expect CC to be easy like high school. Definitely a class that prepares you for the transition to a four-year. If you like to learn and enjoy an academic challenge, then I recommend this class! Take the honors section if you really love writing, it was awesome.

Honest to God, this has to be the best English Professor in this school hands down! Yes she may have topics of world news, politics, socialism, etc. but why not? She made me able to learn a lot about everything! She may be tough in grading, but hey, you make the grade not her. Shes awesome! if u want to learn i suggest you take her! Thanks teach!

I honestly think she's a good professor. She uses the book "Arguments of Element" a lot, everyday in class. Every professor has different teaching methods, as long as you participate and listen you'll understand the assignment, I respect her and she makes me want to work hard er in each essay. She doesn't make the grade you do!!

She is an excellent teacher and does, in fact, use the textbook for class discussions. Participating in these discussions helped my grade. Essays may be difficult if one does not understand the topic, so do not be afraid to ask questions and ask for that extra help!
