Worst teacher I have EVER had! Sucks she is head of the IS department! Unfortunately, some IS classes are ONLY taught by her, but if you can get out of taking OOD with her then DO IT! Not only does she suck at teacher but she holds grudges against students and makes up her own grading system! If she doesn't like you, you will get a poor grade.

Her class is interesting and presents a lot of new material to students looking into the field. Tests were fair and challenging. People in the class needed to grow up; they're just upset because this isn't like the programming classes where they already know how to do it all. Put away your laptops, stop playing WoW and try paying attention.

Agreed!!! Hafner is a VERY mean and condescending person, down right RUDE at times. She will tear you apart and make you feel stupid for asking questions. Despite the attitude, I feel I learned alot in her class because she was always pushing me to my limits, I had no choice but to learn the material.
