Professor Alexander is AMAZING! Attending class is a must if you want a good grade since he only lectures; NO POWERPOINTS! Reading the book before lecture helps, but I never read it; just attended class and got a B. He is very funny and a wonderful person!

Loved his for Gen Psych I just had to have him for another class, class is easy take notes on all the vocab he brings up and study those and you will pass the quizzes and tests. He is a great teacher and really love his classes :)

I liked this class. It was interesting and I learned a lot of information. He is nice but sometimes talks about some random stuff that relates. It is an easy class. One case study, 2 tests a midterm and final, and 6 quizzes. The quizzes and tests involve defining terms. there are also a few essay questions on the tests. Take this class semi easy A

Love Tony Alexander! He's a living schema of self-efficacy, hardiness, and generativity, with a sense of humor and a wicked smile. Full of insight and engaging words he easily molds our understanding of people. The major challenge in this class is recall, to define words accurately from memory.Wish I could have Doc for every class, miss him already

Great professor! I learned a lot from him. Attendance is not mandatory, but don't expect to get good grades if you skip out on class. Take notes on everything he says, read the chapter reviews in the book, and you'll do fine. I highly recommend this professor!!! Easy A right here, folks!

Loved this class.. Dr. Alexander is very helpful with the students & is very funny. Reading the book, listening to the lectures & taking notes is a must if you want a good grade. There is no homework, quizzes or extra credit, only 4 tests & the final.

He is a very nice man and VERY funny! Was accommodating with his students. If you needed help understanding something, he would take the time after class to explain. However, the class was confusing most times, and the teaching style was difficult to understand in most cases. Sometimes what was on the test was not what had been discussed.

Alexander was helpful but his class was not interesting. He only teaches definitions and you basically can memorize the definitions and get an A. I didnt like his teaching style. It was a huge class disscussion and we barely learned what he tested us on so reading the book was a must. Going to class was a waste of time but grades on your attendance

Very good teacher. I really enjoyed the class. Very laid back guy. There is no homework and there is no extra credit. So although attendance is not mandatory, coming to class to listen to his lectures and take notes will be beneficial if you want a good grade.

Dr. Alexander was great. I never opened the book, and the girl who sat next to me never even bought one. Very knowledgable and super nice. TAKE GOOD NOTES, can't stress that enough, and you'll do well on tests. Actually study, and you'll get an A. He lectures while using relevant, interesting, funny examples. I definitely recommend.

Dr. Alexander teaches using humor and real life experiences so the concepts of psychology become clear, practical tools usable by all people. He has un-nerving intelligence but is approachable and kind. Professor talked about sex too explicitly for my taste. Review all the concepts as much as possible, exam questions revolve around them mostly.

Dr Alexander is wonderful and it was a joy to be in his class! His lectures are very clear and the only homework is reading the chapters. To pass his class, you need to be motivated to read and study your notes. He is a wealth of knowledge for those who seek it and I'm truly grateful for what I got out of his class. I highly recommend!

Dull and boring class. He talks all hour and expects you to take down every detail. He gives you blind tests with no review guide at all. His excuse is if you read the book you will be ready for the tests. So in other words, you must read the entire book and remember everything because he does not give you any slight idea about whats on the test.

Very funny. Knowledgable. I am impressed how he can dissect a situation and explain it in terms that are understandable. Gets off subject sometimes. Uses material outside the book so take notes. Quizzes and Exams are primarily vocabulary. Definately take Dr. Alexander.
