Comment:

I enjoyed this class, but I also like teachers who give you what you're responsible for and expect you to do it. If you go to class everyday, take good notes, then study even just for an hour before a test (trust me, I did it) you will do fine. If you miss something in a lecture she will go back and help you with it. Work for it, you'll get an A.

Comment:

Professor lantz-zuckerman holds class three times a week for fifty minutes, and instead of feeling as if you're in THR 105, it seems like a 400 level class. Why? Because she not only is into every detail and factoid you learn but she also offers no clear explanations for taking off points (I got knocked down to a b for not stapling a paper.)

This was a hard class to take. Quizzes were ridiculous, and for only 5 points it was too hard. I would suggest taking Intro to Theatre which is what I should have done in the first place. The professor is very sweet and she obviously knows what she is talking about, but it is not a fun class. Take something else if you want a easier class

I really enjoyed this class. She is really passionate about her class. If you take notes and pay attention, you will pass the quizzes with no problem. You do have to go to class. She doesn't like when you don't go to class or are consistently late. I didn't do any extra credit and got an A in the class. The material is very easy.

She is a nice person, but she takes the intro class to seriously. Her quizzes have 20 questions but are only worth five points. They are actually pretty difficult as well. She loves what she teaches, but I wouldn't recommend taking this class by her.

She is very passionate about what she is teaching, although her class is a bit ridiculous. Her quizzes have a million questions on it, but they are only worth 5 points. Her lectures are really boring and you have to go to a show and write a paper on it. She is nice, but I would NOT take this class again.

Mrs. Lantz is a really sweet lady and she's very passionate about her subject. Her quizzes can be difficult but if you pay attention in class and take notes you'll do fine. The most difficult part of the class was taking notes because she said so much so fast but other than that it's pretty easy. She also offers bonus opportunities.

Do Not Take This Class For An Easy Grade!! Throughout the entire semester I had a higher grade in my accounting class than in her class. You are only allowed 4 absences and then she drops your grade a letter. Gives no time to complete group assignments and GRADES HARD.

I suggest that you take the other class you were considering before this one. You will regret selecting this class. I loved dance before this class, now I don't care for it. Trust me, if you plan on taking a fun class or even a class to help boost your GPA, DO NOT TAKE THIS.You will find that the actual Hard classes are easier. =C

This class is way too hard to be a dance class.You have to write all kinds of papers and she slaughters them.She tells you what she wants on them but marks off b/c it's not what she wants you to put.There are a lot of quizzes and test.It's pretty hard to make an A.It's not a fun class like it should be.

sHE REALLY GETS TOO IN DEPTH WITH THE MATERIAL. sHE SAYS THIS IS A FUN CLASS AT FIRST, BUT YOU EITHER SLEEP OR DON'T COME BECAUSE OF ITS BORING NATURE AND STUPIDITY OF THE DANCES! Uh, I thought it was called INTRO TO DANCE!!!

She makes it harder than it has to be. Her 17 questions quizzes are entirely too long for 5 pts total. There is no way to remember all that material. The dances are stupid. The quest performers are sometimes entertaining. The films are boring. Prepare to go to sleep.
