Lectures right out of the book, gave about 5 or 6 assignments that you need to read a short story that is about 20-25 pages and answer questions. That is 50% of the grade, in class when it needs to be turned in you pair up into groups and its a group discussion for the other 50 %. Only 3 tests and the tests are kind of hard so you need to study.

Dr. Robinson's class requires a lot of reading, and you're going to write. A lot. However, she's very attentive, responds within her stated timeframe, and cares about her students. If you're having issues in class, or issues outside of class that make it difficult for you, just talk to her. She's willing to work with you.

Excellent lectures, selected readings, and feedback from prf.Robinson. I strongly recommend undergraduate students to take her class. anyone who is interested in being ready for graduate studies will appreciate for Dr Robinson's experience and teaching method.

Attendance is not mandatory, but if you skip out on too many classes you will miss so much information. Test is from book and lecture notes. She is a very nice lady, but a tough grader. She teaches it like a Master's level course. So much reading involved. But she knows her material very well.

This Prof knows what she's talking about. She's had so much hands on experience and time to obtain knowledge she doesn't even use any notes during lecture! The class are VERY hard, but worth it. First class I've taken that was both vigorous but had a professor who cared about the students and gave you chances to redeem yourself.

lectures are mostly from the book, but she gives some extra information that may be on the test so GO TO CLASS! I read every page of required reading and got an A. assignments are easy once you figure out exactly how she wants you to answer. she's very laid back. I loved Dr. Robinson!

She is VERY funny! Class was fun with her brillant personality. Her class is strickly four test only though, so if you fail two of them badly your screwed. Only think I didnt like is that she doesnt offer other assignments to help improve your grade!

She is without a doubt the best teacher I had this semester! The coursework can be difficult, but if you really pay attention and take good notes, theres no reason to not do well. If it wasn't for Dr. Robinson, I would have failed this class, but becase of her I got a B. She speaks in monotone, but her lectures are very interesting. I say take her!

I cannot tell you how much I loved her! It is obvious that she loves what she teaches! The coursework is pretty challenging and you really have to study hard to get a good grade, but cmon, this is college! She speaks in monotone however, but the fact that she still grabs my attention whilst doing that proves how amazing she is as a teacher!

I took the class because I needed another SOC ud class. Was pretty pleased though. The class was interesting, a lot of note-taking. People complained about the tests but I did pretty well without too much studying, as long as you attend class, take notes, and read everyonce in a while you'll do fine. Not an easy class, but you will learn!

Her lectures are awesome, but you definitely need a sense of humor. She's not afraid of pointing out the elephant in the room during her lectures, so beware. It's obvious that she loves what she teaches and that makes it interesting. Her tests are extremely difficult if you don't both read the text AND take good notes.

Class can be pretty challenging, but she is a very good professor. She is very clear when lecturing and tells you exactly what you need to know. She'll help you out if you get confused at times. She can be very funny during her lectures and she definitely knows what shes talking about. My recommendation: TAKE HER! You have to work hard though

Worst instructor ever. Took her over the summer and couldn't imagine having her for an entire semester. Test are very difficult. She states attendance isn't mandatory but if she notices you absent, your grade will reflect. I don't understand the people that say she is funny. Do not take her. I now avoid her classes at all costs.

shes an awesome teacher. i had class w/the person below me it seems and they are crazy must be 1 of the boring ppl in the class.this teacher is great, shes hilarious always had the class laughing . take this teacher shes wonderful
