Seems to really care and is extremely passionate about Greek history. His lectures were great but you had to go to the to get the info as he has practically no info in his slides. Tests were extremely fair and there were no assignments for this course. Also brought his dog Teto to every lecture plus if you ask you CAN PET THE DOG!

While I can understand that Prof. Griffith's teaching style might be effective in lecture format, his online lectures as part of the new blended-learning organization were erratic and useless. "Blended" sessions (tutorials) were directionless and participation arbitrary. Boring, but easy class.

I didn't sign up for this course out of interest for the topic, but after attending one lecture, I was HOOKED! Dr. Griffith made class fun and because he's so hilarious it made learning the material that much easier. One of my favorite profs at Queen's!

Easy course - was interesting at times, but I feel like the majority of the time it dragged on. He had some funny moments, but I think the hallmark of this course is that it is a bird course - if the marking was not as easy as it was, then its nothing special. Hated how it was on west campus.
