Time for this woman to retire. She hates her job and lacks communication skills. English has been my favorite subject for the longest time but she made me absolutely hate it. For your final paper if you don't write about something SHE is interested in, you will get a low grade. totally unfair & time for her to retire. I learned absolutely nothing

Great teacher!People say she is tired of teaching and has no intrest. I could see what they mean, but it's most likely the fact that most Palomar students dont care. She was easy. Offers extra credit. If you do the work and the readings its an easy grade. I thought this class was going to be horrible. Now I know famous lines from literature.:)A+++

Teacher was flexible with deadlines and willing to help students via email or in person. most of class was self-paced with students helping each other. hard grader but fair.

I took her online class. Very little participation on her behalf. Neglected to keep up with assignments, at times weeks would pass between her postings. Poor communication. She lost part of my term paper and I had to e-mail her several times to resolve the issue. Her lack of effort and involvement was disappointing and frustrating.

Very unorganized. Takes on too many classes that she doesn't have time to help you. Papers get edited by your clasmates not her. she changes due dates around. Horrible Teacher!!!!!

She doesn't teach, says she doesn't have time to help out because she has too many students. So she's teaching too many classes that she doesn't have any time to help student out. She leaves editing and input up to fellow classmates, so basically your fellow classmates are teaching you to improve your writing.

Avoid her online course. She has students teach each other and provides very little clarity or helpfulness when asked a question. Furthermore, obtaining optimal grades is nearly impossible, given that she provides no feedback to rough drafts, waiting until the final draft is turned in to point out flaws.

Intro to Mythology: I thought I'd better hurry and take this class while it was offered, boy was I wrong. This COULD have been a great, interesting class. This instructor is the WORST teacher I've ever had. Doesn't bother teaching, has students teach each other, doesn't know answers to questions,and, she is unclear about all assignments. Beware

Not a very good professor at all. Grades essays unnaturally hard, and wont give an A unless you're the next hemingway, it seems. Seems disingenuous about the class, and constantly falls behind in the work.

I think she's burnt out on teaching.Has students correct ea others papers.Discussions in class have nothing to do with writing an essay. Slow on getting papers graded. Sometimes she's helpful, but mostly she's lazy.Doesn't teach,but particular on answering the assignment. Deadlines aren't clear. She's very nice, though; I got an A.

DO NOT TAKE HER ONLINE CLASS! I'm not sure if she is any better on campus but she was AWFUL online. She was vague with assignments then VERY particular in grading-She was useless with feedback-she had the class critique each others work which wasn't helpful to improve, or get the best grade-WAY TOO MUCH work for an online class-

Deadlines are very unclear. She lost at least four of my assignments throughout the course. She takes a long time to respond to e-mails, if she responds at all. I really don't feel like I learned anything because she didn't teach anything. It's like she forgot about us. I am very disappointed with this teacher. Don't take the online class!
