Comment:

Prof. Robinson is my favorite professor and I always look forward to going to his class. He definitely cares about his students. He is my only professor who makes the effort to get to know all of his students. He makes the content of the class very easily understandable by relating it in our own lives, jokes, and stories. I definitely reccomend!

I thought he was a great teacher, didn't have any problems with him. The lectures were interesting, and the work pretty easy. He tailored the subject toward the students he was teaching. We're artdesign students and taking psychology as one of our liberal arts, and he made it relate back to what we do. Weekly quizzes, 2 papers, and a project.

Comment:

Some sections of the class were harder than others, but Mr. Robinson was always available before, during, and after class to help clarify any questions. A lot of his class was being able to back up how you got to your answer. Memorize the definitions when he tells you to!

He's the creepy older guy everyone warns you about. I saw him hit on so many students that it was gross. I'm pretty sure that's why he was fired from UAB. If it wasn't, it should have been.

I heard bad things about this class but took it anyway because I needed the hours. His notes are confusing and tedious to read, and they don't correspond with the text whatsoever. The tests and quizzes are tricky, so it is very hard to do well in this class, not to mention the material he covers seems to be irrelevant to the course.

He is ok. I would not suggest to take his class if you are studious and serious about the topic. Apart from that he has tremendous knowledge of subjects, and he knows what he is talking about. though the exams are very confusing and not a good class for international students.

Nice guy,but will never take another class from him. Tests come from lecture notes,but wording is confusing-almost as if to trick you. Quizzes were written by TAs & there were ALWAYS mistakes. NEVER enough time given to realistically take quizzes. These issues brought up in class but no resolve. Tests/quizzes never returned to see what was missed.

Dr. Robinson is an okay professor. His tests were almost completely from the lecture notes. I absolutely hate the TA Amanda though. The whole time in class I wanted to throw something at her head. She constantly screwed with our quiz grades and made us read 2 chapters just to take a 12 min., 15 question quiz. We didn't even get a min. per question.

TAs made quizzes ridiculously difficult. Don't take him online. Attend the class if you can. He's all over the place, audio sucks, never on camera, and when he goes through periods of class discussion you can't understand what anyone is saying. His tests are not so bad because they are based off his lecture power points.

Do not take ANY online classes with him. Audio bad, book worthless, big ego and loves to brag on himself. TAs are worthless and mean. Avoid!
