Comment:

I am usually get really good grades in science classes, but this class is so difficult I'm struggling to just get a B (and this is a science class for non-science majors). The class is extremely difficult, and it feels like no matter how much work I put in I will never get an A. Tabit also doesn't give very good feedback and doesn't really help.

Comment:

Professor Tabit is too busy to be a professor, he should just focus on being department chair because he can't handle both. You'll never know what your grade is until it's too late , but he makes you believe you're on the right track . I would not recommend him , his teaching style is too different.

Prof. Tabit has a very unusual way of teaching. But if you like structure- do not take him. He is very disorganized and gets off topic a lot. If you want a easy grade text him. In addition, he does not respond to emails.

I have taken 3 of his classes 2108, ecology, 3226. I'm signed up to take him again...He is a great teacher! Good example of not using the standard method of listen to lecture and read the book and spit out info. He wants you to learn and if you listen, you will. He knows what he is talking about but isn't arrogant. (Just don't be late to his class)

I have taken every class of his. Once you've taken one Tabit class, you have taken them all. He is great! He has a wierd teaching style, but his class is fun! He isn't into book learning. He wants you to think and put things together on your own. His tests aren't easy, but as long as you can justify answers, he will give credit where credit is due.

Oh, this guy is wonderful..what a breath of fresh air..a professor that actually cares about his students. He was so fair...and I learned a lot...it almost seemed as if he WANTED us to get an A. I didn't think I'd meet a professor like that. He cares..I highly recommend this guy..seriously.

He is a very good teacher. However, he does not waste time when giving material. There are many times to earn extra credit. He gives online test and quizzes online. Also, he gives extra credit quizzes in class and gives the answers. He is a great teacher i reccomend him.

Interesting character. Lectures and puts notes on his site which is helpful. He will make time for you if you want and give you extra chances as well. The only reason this class should make you struggle is if you dont talk to him or dont do tests.
