His lectures were kinda boring and he spoke about himself mostly. His grading criteria is quite intimidating because on his quizzes were some stuff we didnt learn. My class average was always in the 50s but he curves the grades at the end. STUDY the quizzes, they will be on the final. He gave me an A-. Show interest and youll be fine!

Professor Cliff Hesse radio class is one of my favorite classes on campus. the whole course was helpful and fun. definitely helped me decide on which media flied but over all the class is great just don't forget to read up on all your notes and i doubt you'll need a book but you never know

I took cliff hesse for radio and everything was fine up until it was tie for finals. he gave of us a study guide which he swore up and down that if we studied it everything on the test would be easy.... okay cool I studied it, then comes the day of the test and nothingg that he put on the study sheet was on the test just a bunch of stupid questions

Although he is a great person he does not give extra credit at all. Fail his only two quizzes better study your ass off for the final which contains both quizzes. Attendance matters if you want to pass with an A or B. Basically he talks about his life almost every single class. He has smart remarks as well.

Dr. Hesse is probably one of the best professors you will ever have at Kingsborough. He is one of the nicest guys I have ever met and he was incredibly knowledgeable about communications. You will learn a lot from him if you pay attention and do the work.

Dr. Hesse is one of the most knowledgeable and wonderful professors I have ever had in the field of Communications. He is entertaining, witty, and will be able to help you with almost anything you are having problems with. His tests are very simple if you pay attention to him, take notes and read. He is equivalent to God.

Took him for broadcast adv. Like someone said, you are lucky to have him. SO smart and entertaining. NO BOOK so it is necessary to go to class to receive handouts. this guy is the man!!!!

Cliff Hesse is an amazing professor, teacher and person. You should consider yourself lucky if you get him. He is extremely knowledgeable about his subject matter he would not have to teach unless he wanted to. All around great guy. 3-4 tests a semester and on the final you can retake any of those 4 again if you want a better grade. Take his class

Hesse genuinely LOVES what he is teaching & knows EVERYTHING about the field of media! He is always attentive, energized, helpful & excited about answering questions indepth. Oh, and he ALWAYS matches... Most put together professor @ KCC. The suit, tie... everything. LOL.
