I've taken several classes with Professor Olson. In general, he assigns concise and to the point reading which I tend to get a lot out of. Additionally, he stays on top of current developments like no other professor I've had in law school. Definitely worth taking if you're interested in intellectual property.

He is a highly intelligent person, very geeky. But I found him to be pretty interesting as a teacher. Low stress class. In my experience, he's willing to take time to answer questions and engage students. Just awesom smart guy.

Among the worst professors I have ever had in any of my 3 degree programs. Literally read from the book in monotone throughout class, gave the same exam with the same 3 questions on it year after year, and unavailable during office hours. Learn more by watching YouTube videos for 3 hrs/week.

had for several classes. so boring. so easy. played a lot of scrabble in class. bring something to do, even if you decide to come. sometimes he sends around an attendance sheet. he NEVER is in his office or won't answer his door. has no personality. but, easiest classes ever.
